The day after seemed just as bad and gloomy as the night before. The sky was still pitch black even though it was around the town of noon.Everything was quiet in town Beurudosh except the occasional sounds of cars passing by, the water splashing on the sidewalk , the people inhabiting them rushing to thier workplace. Unlike the deserted streets last night, the townsfolk were walking on the pavement, occasionally getting splashed by the rushing cars, going into shops and talking with their friends they bumped into.
Down the street of Feinush was an apartment building that stood two stories high. There was no parking lot infront or around the building. The building's style was nothing special, just a typical building. A man stepped in through the front doors and walked up the stairs, down the hallway to a door. The mailman knocked on the door and waited for the person who lived in the room to come answer the door. Soon the door opened and the man was greeted by a red hair male teenager.
" Guten Tag, Mari, " The man said with a nice smile and then it faded seeing that Marius face was dirty and so was his clothes, " Vat happened to you?" He asked.
" Huh? " Marius responded in a sleepy tone and then looked himself over. He smiled and laughed a little, looking back up at the man. " Oh, this? Haha, I vas just late getting home last night ven the storm began. So vat do you have for me?" He asked looking down at the package in the mailman's arms.
The man just looked at Marius for a second then shook his head and replied, " Oh, it's the electic keyboard you ordered from Japan. Just came in today."
Marius's blue eyes lite up. " Really?!! Sveetness! I've vaited forever for it!" He cheered and then remembered to keep his voice down. Someone else in his room was still sleeping. " So all I have to do is sign that paper there?" He asked pointing down at the clipboard in the man's hand.
The man nodded and set the package down gently down on the ground and handed the clipboard to Marius. Marius took the clipboard and hurriedly rushed his name on the appropiate spot with the pen that was connected to it by a string.
" There you go, " beamed Marius as he handed the clipboard back over to the mailman.
" Danke," replied the man as he took the clipboard and then tipped his hat as he turned to walk off. " Enjoy and have a great day, Mari " He said and went down the hall to the stairs.
When the man was out of sight, Marius took the package and went back inside his apartment, closing the door behind him. He smiled brightly as he looked at the side of the box, showing the picture of what the keyboard inside looked like and what it applied. He was filled with so much joy! However, his face turned down as he thought of the girl that still slept in his bed.
" Anna..." He sighed sadly as he set the box down on the ground in his living room. He exited out of the living room and entered his room. There laying in his bed, hugging onto his pillow, slept Anna. Her face was still dirty and so was her hair, but her face and skin didn't look all out of place. When they arrived last night, Marius took the time to clean up the scratches and bruises that was placed on her soft skinny body. Well, the places that he could touch at least. Bandages were placed here and there on her face, arms, legs, shoulders, and her stomach. Marius was pleased that he at least stopped the bleeding.
Anna layed so still in the bed and it seemed unless for the fact that she was still breathing, that she would have been a corpse laying there. It scared Marius out of his wits. Finding the girl he loves in his bed dead! Frightning it is!
