I didn't hear Kagome. I couldn't. InuYasha's words kept circling around in my head. 'Can't..Stand.........you........' I felt dizzy. But to be honest, it wasn't those words that bothered me. It was the fact that he was even CONSIDERING being with Kikyo! It burned me up inside. My chest was still on fire when I finally heard Kagome's urgent voice. "Bella! Whats wrong?!" I snapped back to the present. "Oh.....Kagome." I finally answered, trying to think clearly. "InuYasha.....he..." Kagome's eyes widened. "No! He's o.k. ...At least, I think he is. He ran off. Apparently, he can't stand me." Kagome still looked worried. "He said that?" she asked. I nodded. Her expression turned from worried to annoyed. "Why would he say that?" she wondered. "Probably 'cause I'm very hard to stand, and he doesn't have that much willpower." I concluded. She looked at me. probably wondering how sane I was. Sango came over. "I heard what you said, Bella. And I don't think that he can't stand you. Not really. HE probably just doesn't like the truth you reveal." I thought about that. "So should I keep my mouth shut then?" I asked. "I mean, I'm probably being too honest. I should keep my opinions to myself, I suppose." Kagome shook her head. "No, its not even that. You're just very....strong-willed." I snorted. "Wrong word there, Kagome. I have almost NO willpower." I laughed at the thought. Kagome looked towards the forest. "We should go get him." I whispered. Sango nodded. "Miroku! Shippo! we have to go find him!" Sango called. They came over, and we ventured into the dark forest, hoping to find him quickly.
