In the year 2099, where humans and magical beings live among each other. In the island region of New Caelestis, a young half-elf agent named Jesse Silverwind is trying to make a name for himself because of his hidden secret of his half-breed lineage. Along the way, he befriends a fellow half-breed, Princess Lilia Hanarin, when he's assigned as her bodyguard for her seventeenth birthday ball.

But the festivities are cut short when a group of hungry monsters crash the party, assassinating the king and queen and slaughtering several innocents. One said he worked for a vampiric lord named Lucifer, who saught nothing less then the extinction of the hanarin bloodline. And what's more is a day when Lucifer will be able to perform a ritual that will allow him to walk about in the daylight on New Year's Eve.

With a window of oppurtunity barely fourteen days long, Jesse and Lilia set off for the Forbidden Island of Demonia in the farthest western edge of the New Caelestis region to defeat this psychopath before the Ritual of Black Sun can be performed. But they just don't realize the trouble they've gotten themselves into to...
