The murder that happened in Kansas? I forgot the specific city.
They made a movie out of it, I believe, and called it In Cold Blood. Well, guess what?
My grandma owns a dresser and mirror that were actually in the house when the family was killed. They were selling them for cheap, and she bought them, years ago. We only just now found out about it. My dad is extremely paranoid, so he was really freaked out, especially since she brought them to our house when she moved in. He waqted to get rid of them, but we convinced him to let them stay.
I mean, my dad is so paraniod that he doesn't want my deceased grandfather's ashes in the hosue. The guy was an angry drunk years and years ago, but he was perfectly peaceful when he died, so I don't understand his fear over it.
I'm paranoid about things too, but he was my grandpa! And it's just furniture. Eesh. I didn't notice anything odd in the house (Which I normally do. I have stories to tell. Just ask.) so I have no problem with them being here.
I just thought it was odd that we have something from such a famous murder in our house, so I figured I would tell you all.
That, and I was extremely bored.
