Well the story behind that is kind of funny and a bit scary... I was glad I was home or my dog could have died.
I have a huge old golden lab/ retreaver, he's almost 14 years old and he is starting to show his age now.
We have a pool in our back yard, we've only had it for a very short amount of time. We had just recently bought a plastic blue pool cover to put over the pool so crap wouldnt get into it as much.
What I am guessing is that the dog thought that he would be able to walk across it. So he went to step on it and fell into the pool.
Lucky for the dog, my nana was outside cleaning her windows and heard him fall in. She yelled for me and I ran outside. AS soon as I got out there I jumped into the pool, clothes and all.
I waded out and moved the cover so he wasnt tangled in it anymore. SO then I led him over to the stairs and pushed him up onto the deck. I was soaking wet x.x totally dreanched. I looked like a drowned rat heh, my jeans and t-shirt stuck to me and it sucked big time. My socks were soggy too xp Very gross.
Well now the dog smells bad, I'm wet and grumpy heh ;
