... and I feel really bad about it later on. =C I feel like I'm trying to brag about stupid things when I post my own pictures. Don't try to reassure me and tell me I'm not! D= I've been very stubborn lately and probably won't listen to you.
So I finally got around to trying on my kimono last night... y'know, all last minute and stuff. As it turns out, the obi is really hard to tie if you don't have someone there to help guide you and show you, since most instructions you find on such things won't be that terrific. Here's the finished product. I look so disasterous in that picture--it's taken from yesterday, so my hair was still trying to recover from the afro incident. A bit of my under kimono is sticking out through the sleeve, and all these things on the obi are showing that aren't supposed to. I'm also wearing my obi too low--I'm still very young, so I should wear it much higher, and not low like an old lady like I have it there. Not to mention, you can't see the best part of the kimono because I didn't realize my beanbag chair would be in the way. XP
I should learn how to end my sentences sooner. XD
I'm going to Sakuracon, Seattle's anime convention, tomorrow. I won't be back 'till kinda late Sunday. The con' itself doesn't start publicly untill Friday, but my mum's on the staff so we get to go early. And I managed to become a volunteer even though I'm about three years too young. Go me! Penny arcade is going to be there. If you've ever heard of them, I really do want you to envy me. XD I'm hoping to have time enough to stand in line to get thier autographs on a poster or two, and maybe one for my friend. 3nodding It's gonna be special because they'll be selling thier books, which is a really big thing. Plus, my dad just gave me $150 to spend at the con' tomorrow! eek So THAT's where my allowance has been going! XD
