with every word,
that made my skin burn.
he was my first in every way,
my first love, my first mistake,
he was my first sleeping cry,
my very first "I want to die",
he made me into something so un-me,
so distant I was unable to see,
I left my world, for only him,
leaving everything, even them
he gave me a mask, and covered my eyes,
fed me his love, fed me his lies.
I believed each word, that bled from his lips,
until one day, when everything slips.
I fall from my feet and and will not meet,
the eyes of those who have see the show
and here's to only thing I now know
my heart has changed and will no longer welcome as the same.
