Chamber of Valentine's Day
1-Setting:
The land is a mixture of Victorian era and whimsical fantasy. The Chamber is split into two kingdoms. The Red Kingdom and White Kingdom. Both are ruled by Queens. The Red Queen and the White Queen respectively. The Red Kingdom is the major power and has taken over the White Kingdom in a Civil War. The Red Queen doesn't know what to do with the land and has kept its name for the time being.
○1A-Red Kingdom Overview:
This kingdom is made up of five parts. It is set up like a circle. The castle, a market, residential housing, and a massive garden. The castle sits in the center and towers over every other building. Before it is the market. On either side stretches a length of homes for the people. The rest of the circle is nothing but garden. The garden is separated from the people by large hedges. Huge brick walls separate the town from the rest the world. Its only entrance is in front of the market. It leads to a bridge that crosses ay very wide moat to a forest. Under the town is a sort of training ground for the military. the Queens "Cards."
○1B-Castle:
The castle is a very intimidating building. Made of red brick, it looms over the market. Its turrets appearing to pierce the sky itself. It is very grand on the inside. To match the tastes of the Queen, of course. The walls are lined with the most lush and expensive tapestries and paintings. The floors are covered in embroidered carpets from the most talented weavers. The most exquisite furniture fill the rooms. The castle as a whole is very awe-inspiring indeed.
○1C-Market:
The market is just like any market. Busy, noisy, and full of people. However, the place its very...grey. No one can ever look better than the Queen. Ever. The market is bland in appearance and does what it has to. The market is controlled, just like the rest of the town, by the Queen. She decides if there will be able exports or imports. She influences the trends. It used to be the kingdoms were separate and didn't trade at all. After the Civil War however, the Red Kingdom has the White Kingdom working for them.
○1D-Housing:
Houses are classic Victorian style homes. The only show for rank of wealth is the height of the house. One floor: Market workers. Two floors: Garden workers. Three: Castle workers. These "workers" titles are used to identify who goes were instead of "classes". There aren't any peasants but there isn't any nobles ether. Maids and such do live in the castle as well.
○1E-Garden:
The second most important place in the Section. First being the castle. The garden is the Queens pride and joy. Most jobs are related to the garden since it is very large. Its created its own working class , the "garden-workers".The garden is divided into four sections. All named after a face card. (Heart, Spade, Etc.) The Queen spends her time there bossing around workers and playing games such as kroket((crow-KAY)).
○1F-Military Bunker:
An underground...settlement if you will. Its sole purpose is to house and train people for the military. The Queen calls them her "Cards." The "settlement" is a massive labyrinth of stone tunnels and chambers. The soldiers themselves are rather...strange. There are many local theories and stories about them. Very fearful tales. Apparently once someone becomes a Card, they are never seen by their family. Even though the army is rather big, not a soul has seen one and lived to tell the tale.
○1G-White Kingdom Overview:
The White Kingdom was once a very bright place. The castle was in the center similar to the Red Kingdom, however, its much smaller and made of the whitest stones. Its setup is very similar to the Red Kingdom. Five parts in a circle, but no hidden military bunker. Instead, what the garden covers in the Red Kingdom is split in half. One being training and housing for military and the other half are gardens. The market and homes are bright and colorful and the building vary in size. (Though the castle is still the tallest.) However, after the Civil War, the place has gone to shambles.
○1H-Castle:
The Queen had the castle burned to the ground to make sure that it will never rise again. Now it stands as a blackened husk of what it use to be.
○1I-Market:
Once a booming place, now its just a place of labor for the Red Kingdom. Full of factories and storehouses.
○1J-Housing:
The people still live in their homes when they are not working. The colors have faded along with the Kingdom's livelihood. The houses there too are classic Victorian style.
○1K-Garden:
The gardens were the first to be burned. Though they were small, they were beautiful. Now nothing will grow in the black dirt and dust that has settles in.
○1L-Military:
The military wasn't as vigorous as the Cards were. They were usually used for domestic disputes. The military has ether merged with the Cards or became workers in the factories.
