This is probably a question that has come up a lot for you, but I'm going to ask it as well. The Halo. It was one of Gaia's first donation items..or the first, I forget, but over the months more and more newer users have gone along with making threads and petitions on bringing the Halo back again. I'm against the whole idea of releasing it again; the Halo will never be released again, at least I hope so. How do you feel about the topic, though? Are you sick of all the hype that's brought up because of the Halo? Would you give in to the feelings of some of these users that want the Halo brought back, or even brought back in a different color?
Many people have brought up their problems with there being a cigarette and the smoker as items on Gaia. Many other people have put down those people because of how they feel about it. What's your opinion on the whole matter? Do you think that having the item puts a negative thought in some users minds, and perhaps even convinces some of the younger members to smoke?
As we all know, more games will be introduced to Gaia in the future. Some users see the newer developments such as the March 2005 Donation items of a plush kitty and a robot dog as your trying to become more and more like other sites. Neopets, in example. Do you feel that adding more games onto the site will be a somewhat flop like the housing system, and will make your site more like Neopets as some users think?
Some users have brought up their difficulty in finding clothing once they first start out, by the items being too expensive for them to have. Do you ever consider lowering the prices down on some of the more popular items to fit the budget of new users? If you ever did lower the prices, how do you think that would effect the feelings from older users of the site and those that think that the prices are fair?
How do you feel about the way some users look up to you? I mean, like some users referring to Lanzer as their 'Jesus', if even in a joking way. How does it feel to be so highly respected and loved by thousands of people from all over the world? Does it make you uncomfortable having your users feel so strongly about you?
Can I touch you, or have some of your hair? Yes, I'm one of those creepy users.
Do you ever just feel like letting Gaia shut down for a few days, even a week, so that some of you could get a break from it? A lot of users have stated their feelings on how hard you work, and how much some of them would even pay for you guys to take a vacation from Gaia. Would you ever consider it? You guys need to live your lives, too, not just take care of thousands of strangers that visit your site.
Does Lanzer ever..uh, sleep, I guess. How much time do all of you really take away from Gaia on an average day? Also, is VO ever NOT on Gaia? Most of the time when I check the memberlist he's always listed as online.
Since Halloween 2004, there has been a lot of hype over Gambino because of the incidents that you had happen at the mansion during the event. Zombies are cool, though. He went broke or whatever, and just reccently you had the whole 'Gambino Donation Drive' where many users donate lots of their gold to help Gambino. I have questions about that, but anywho..more to my question. The introduction of the Von Helson sisters brought up a lot of speculation on the world of Gaia that the NPCs are a part of. Many didn't like the sisters, and many thought they were vampires. Now, the vampire thing can't exactly be proven yet..but there is one thing that can be proven; the Von Helson sisters and Gambino are huge rivals. When Gambino went into their party they stole Gino, and made Gambino promise never to return to Durem in order to get him back. This is what more than likely caused his donation drive, and the tower. What exactly are your plans for the future of this storyline, is there anything that you can hint on about it? Will we eventually get to know more about the Von Helsons and their history? How about Gambino, is he really a nice guy..or an evil, greedy b*****d like some seem to think? I'm curious as to know what will happen, since the storylines seem to progress slowly over time on Gaia.
You guys seem really set up when it comes to the events, are you? How far in advance do you set up the storylines that are going on and the events themselves? Hell, do you guys have ideas on what's going to happen storyline and event wise for a year or two to come still?
On an average month, how many letters do you end up giving out due to donations that you get? What's done with all the money besides buying things for the site?
