Samantha was a simple toucan, except for one tiny difference,
she was born a pure black color.
All of the other toucans made fun of Samantha and refused to let her lead a normal life.
While her cousin Sam became a big advertising star, Samantha lived alone as an outcast of society. This went on for years until the fateful day she turned 17 and met a person that changed her life...
Bob was a failing talent agent that hadn't had a success, or a bath, for months and lived mostly off of instant ramen. One day he decided to take a walk and relieve his lung pain (which was caused by the lead paint in his office) when he saw a wonderous bird. "What is your name?" He asked. "S-smantha" she replied shyly. "Why are you all alone out here" He mused. "I was born differently so no one likes me" She looks down."Samantha." He says taking her feathery hand in his own. "You are beautiful."
After that Samantha became a respected model and Bob was able to move out of his asbestos filled office and could eat three square meals a day. They became good friends and are still close to this day.
