Special Abilities: Possesses angelic power, Chaos Control, can generate white flames that serve as both offense and defense, possesses healing powers, can sprout wings made of white crsytal, and can change into Azrael, one of the Goddess Aurora's top enforcers. Also acts as a "conduit" of sorts between this world and the afterlife, in that he can talk to the spirits of the deceased, and has a special sense that alerts him when Sayge is in trouble.
Bio: After trying to fight Xenon before in a futile effort to save Sayge, Merrick lost his demonic powers, and spent three weeks in a coma. Merrick spent the next seven months in a sort of depression, until his newborn daughter, Sahara, was brought to him. Sayge was rescued, but was in very bad shape. At his wit's end, and not sure what to do anymore, Merrick did some soul searching, seeking the advice of his deceased father. After receiving his angelic powers, and new clothes to boot, Merrick healed Sayge's injuries, and swore to help her father in any way he could to bring down Xenon. In the end, Xenon was stopped, and now Merrick faces the future with a newfound sense of hope.
