I felt a warm pressure next to me. I could feel him exhale onto my chest. A soft early glow shined though the shutters above the bed. I opened my eyes slowly, I almost forgot where I was, until I saw him. His arm wrapped around my torso, head resting on my chest, clinging to my left side as he slept. His face shifted slowly, almost angry, then back to a subtle smile. He was dreaming. I brought a hand slowly to the back of his head, running my fingers slowly through his soft brown hair. This almost felt like a dream, but I knew wasn't. This perfect moment. Serene.
He shifted slightly as my fingers trailed down the back of his neck, and back up into his hair. His eyes slowly opened as he looked up at me, a tired smile coming over his mouth. The sun seemed to burst into the window as he woke up, and I could feel its warm fingers enveloping the room. I smiled, looking into his tired eyes, whispering softly to him. "Good morning beautiful."
He smiled bigger and responded, "Good morning."
He lifted himself onto me. Pressing his chest to mine, kissing me softly. I wrapped my arms tightly around him, kissing him back. We cocked our heads, kissing harder. I could feel his warm hands sliding up my chest as he cupped my cheeks, breathing heavier. I smiled wide into the kiss, moaning playfully into him. I slid my hand up his back, my finger tips caressing his skin softly until they found the back of his head. My hand pressed lightly to the back of his head as I sat up with him still on me, A sheet was the only barrier between us as he pressed himself harder against me. Our breaths quickened, grips tightened, and the sun seemed to rise slower.
Time almost seemed to stop with him in my embrace. I pushed forward, pressing him against the bed, my hands gently on his shoulders as I looked down at him. He looked up at me eagerly. His hands still on my cheeks, his thumb rubbing my right cheek gently. As I pressed my lips back to his, I quivered gently, laying back down beside him, time speeding back into place as we laid in each others embrace.
