Drawing... for... stuff???
I'm typing this merely to be typing some thoughts. There are few who actually pay my journal mind, and so I suppose it's for them to discover. Or for me to rant. Whichever.
Alright, so some time has passed since my last few entries. A lot has changed even as nothing has. I've been trying to study hard to get good grades, but lately it seems like I have ADD. I cannot stay focused, cannot seem to buckle down and simply study. The only thing I am excited about is my Japanese studies.
Now, onto the point of this entry. I have had a freebie shop in a guild for some time now. I got a small flow of business, but nothing big. Just a few requests here and there. I got bored. I drew a comic for the group I'm in here at school, and suddenly, they want me to draw more things. They are trying to elect me as the group artist and basically have me draw everything for them. It's both flattering and dumbfounding at the same time. I'm not used to it. When I was younger, I drew, yes, but there always were those that were better than me, those that I knew would go on to become artists even as I scribbled to simply pass the time in math class. So now, people are trying to set up deals with me (You draw this and I'll do this for you) within the group, and I may get a lot of things simply in exchange for something I do daily on the side of my notes.
Also, another strange thing... I opened up a new freebie shop, this one out in the center of gaia forums, figuring it would gather a few more people, though I hoped for a maximum of four or five in a week. That was my highest aspiration. The shop hasn't been open a day yet and I have had 11 requests within the past 24 hours. It's flattering, but not expected. I opened the freebie shop simply because I want to draw but believed nobody would pay me for it. Guess that's life. Unexpected. Now I have my hands full with requests and homework. Halloween is this weekend, and my campus will be crawling with drunks. Maybe I'll get a lot done then....

Turning 18
My birthday is coming up, and yet I don’t feel any different. Legally an adult, and yet still just a kid. Nothing has changed, but yet, everything has.
As if that made sense…
Things around here have been relatively interesting. In the next two weeks, I will be spending three hours nightly at play practice, have to assemble two costumes, all while balancing school work and tutoring. Things will be getting hectic, but for now, I’m content to laze around and enjoy my fleeting freedom.
It has been snowing a lot, an oddity since it’s Easter. There is still snow on the ground. I can’t believe it. I want spring, not winter. I miss the sun, the green, and the flowers.
My grandpa surprised me today. He actually played the Wii. Well, ok, it was one round in bowling, but he did it! The man is in his 70s, and he played the Wii. Though, he had more fun watching me and a cousin box. [We got a little carried away].
The other happy note is that my boyfriend is for sure coming to visit me June 1st- 7th. So, I finally get to see him again, and I graduate around then, so happy times. I can’t wait until summer, even if it does mean working like crazy at a new job.
Ok, that’s it. Cya around.

Happy Turkey Day!
So this extended weekend, I ate way more than I have in a long time. And not just in ice cream, but in things like turkey, mashed potatoes, and my grandma's turkey hash.
I also got my pink DS finally, and let's just say I haven't let it out of my sight. I have been playing Lunar: Dragon Song, Animal Crossing: Wild World, but most of all, Final Fantasy III, which I adore. I love the characters, and love the job system. Currently, all of my characters are red mages because I think they look pimpin' that way. Oh yeah.... xd

*Dancing around 'cuz it's almost the WEEKEND!! Yay!*
Alright, so my first journal entry here, which means I'm finally becoming slightly more active and less of a newcomer.
Here is your warning to anyone who decides to read this: I ramble, and my trains of thought often jump tracks. I am easily amused, and often believe I have ADD due to my lack of concentration. You were warned.
Lately I have been playing Final Fantasy XII, but haven't gotten very far into it because of lack of time. All of my classes have decided that my death will be a drawn out, painful experience filled with nightmares of tests and random derivatives that barely anyone understands. It sucks, because I'm addicted to the game already! Ack! Need.... sleep.. and.. game...
I also drew a new image today, more or less out of boredom. I draw anime style, and though it's not very good, I'm fiercely proud of my art (which is why I won't show it, so my pride stays intact from random people saying it sucks).
Ok, that's it for now. Cya lata.
