Choking on myself..
Choking on my emotions..
Have you ever had that one guy..
He couldn't let go..
Then.. there was that one girl.. and she couldn't let go?
With a combination of both.. They could ruin everything.
Which way to go.. when there is always a neutral..
He's standing there... always. The third guy...
While she watches.
He's not even facing her..
He's looking at the past.
Her heart.. climbs up her throat..
and she chokes...
Pretending... it doesn't hurt..
There's not pain she says..
A hand hits her face...
It's her own..
She's about to do it again, but the guy that can't let go stops it..
She cries... and they are held together by a blanket..
The Neutral, he begins to turn..
Her eyes are looking at him, but now..
her heart is in her chest again...
"I'm sorry," She mouths.
'There's nothing to be sorry for...' He says.
Her heart is so close to evaporating... but that guy that can't let go..
Presses their chest together..
For a moment.. she's happy...
The urge to rip her eyes out are gone...
Until she opens them to find herself
staring at the neutral guy all over again..
She's getting tired.. but she wanted to be loyal.. so with a twist,
She turned her head and found herself staring at the back
of the head of the guy, the guy who could not let go...
She's was known for being the girl who could not let go..
Now she was know for that and the girl who decided to push..
The blanket has long been gone..
She pushed... and she cried.. so hard, that her heart evaporated...
No one noticed.. because no one was looking at her...
~Months later,
The girl with no heart was given half by her friend.
Success! Lead to her finding of her heart in pieces...
A puzzle, was no challenge for her.
remembering she was the girl that could not let go that came with the heart..
Was treachery..
The guy who could not let go came back... For he was the guy who COULD NOT
LET GO..
With this.. It seemed like everything would go back together..
It did.. for yet less than the moment before.. because he turned away.. again.
He wouldn't reply to her calls to him..
Esp. The last one, the most important call...
The one that would end her and him.. and the other hers...
The one that would declare. "We are friends."
"I have learned that to live you must learn to forgive, therefore you forgive to live.... We are friends.. I cannot be more..."
The guy who could not let go.. he never got to hear those words..
Because he never replied to her calls...ignorance...unknown.. She still looked upon the Neutral guy... The first beat of her heart that made her think... he gave her that .. so little.. so much.
Now she's faced whether to be that girl again.. the one who could not let go..
Or.. to be the one who let go of everything..
~ I'm the girl that tried to let go in good terms.. but was left staring at the neutral guy..
