GRRR.
So, I'm ridiculously frustrated. I'm just NEVER happy with my art.
I'm always trying my a** off, and I'm just never satisfied.
The moment I think 'Hey, this is pretty good!' I start to look into it too much to find every possible flaw.
And let me tell you, there are so many of them.
AND I'M SICK OF DRAWING ANIME/MANGA.
Don't get me wrong, I still love it.
It's just that EVERYONE is drawing like that now a-days.
It used to be something special, and individual, but now its become so mainstream that people are seeing it as less of an art form and more as a fad.
And so am I. It's driving me mad.
Just when I think I'm happy, I go and change my perspective on EVERYTHING.
I'm trying a new artstyle right now, and I was pretty happy with it.
Then I asked for some opinons on it, because not only should I be happy with it, but others should as well.
Most of the commenters told me they liked my old manga-style better.
WHICH IS FRUSTRATING.
The current style I'm drawing is weird and blocky. I kinda like it, because its really odd. It's like I'm screaming ' SCREW YOU, ANATOMY. I'LL GIVE MY CHARACTER CRAZY-LONG LIMBS IF I WANT TO.'
Which it bad. Because anatomy is important. Damn.
The current style I WANT to draw is superhero/graphic novel style,
but I'm so heavily influenced by the anime/manga I've been doing for years that everything turns out anime-like.
I just get discouraged to easily.
NGGG. SO ANNOYING.
