Through Blind Eyes
So ignorant, as the world changes, evolves around you
Eyes painted shut, cold and carless
It saddens me inside to see what we have become ( What have we become?)
Just an open palm
Can you see me now? ( With your eyes shut)
Standing tall and proud
Now watch me take you down
Invisible to the naked eye
Ignore us now but one day we'll fly ( Soar right on past you)
Evolution of this newfound revolution
Generation Y kiss your sweet little day dream goodbye
Rushing all around you
Oblivious to all the change ( The motion of the world)
Keep telling yourself you're important
Turn another page, as you look the other way ( The book is tattered and torn, the words are smudged just all because....)
So many opportunities befallen on blind eyes
Through blind eyes can you see me?
Can you see me now?
As you're crashing to the ground
Wounded and torn
Not the person you were before
Standing over you with an evil smile
Laughing away as you fall to your demise ( Sinister smiles and hearts of gold, finding out what you're future holds.)
Eyes open too late, hearts filled with hate
Now we're on top and you're looking up
As we rule you, you're no longer so smug
Fallen off of the face of the earth
No longer on top now, because of your own greedy curse
Through blind eyes can you see me now? ( Blind eyes open wide now as you crash to the ground)
While your standing on the ground, we're looking down.
Take a lesson from all of this
Open your blind eyes ( And open your heart)
Don't be so quick to ignore
Becuase one day you see... ( with those blind eyes...)
You'll be the one crashing to the floor
