As the pen was put to my paper, I thought to myself, "What shall I write? What would a young Lady such as myself write?" I then realized that, even in this journal, I must be very dignified and sincere. That can be quite difficult for me at times, as my emotions tend to burst out of me like fire out of a dragon in tales of old. Of course, they are tales of a time long gone. It is not believed that there are still dragons in this world. I did not believe so before today. It was around three P.M. when I saw a flare in the sky. It appeared to be a horizontal flare, yet it was coming from what appeared to be a large bird. Upon closer inspection, my maid Dorothy and I realized it was, in fact, a dragon. One of the large winged beasts of old, here? It was quite amazing to see, and it seemed quite young when it landed. It spoke in a child's voice and had the appearance of a being that had not yet reached maturity. I must stop writing for now. There is a formal meeting I must attend. I fear it has something to do with the young dragon which landed in the yard.
