Im back!!

I'd be amused if anyone cared much at all. But I still love being back :3 one of the first things I saw after this long hiatus (2 years or more to be honest), were the new features, tiny fixes and awesome improvements to gaia it self. Like the dressing-room. Heh. And Im loving the little notices when I get quoted or my subscribed threads have new posts! heart

The only thing that makes me sad is the fact I missed seeing Brennivin in action! The new NPC character that's getting all the love, though disappearing shop. He's supposed to be Icelandic (and a slight mash up of simply being foreign), his Icelandic is just as dreadful as his English, maybe worse, but Im not sure. The gaia team need someone to help them out with the choice of words and translations. Even the bad English. I'd be all up for to it.

I swear, he must have been raised in a Icelandic household in France, how else do you name your shop Dernier Cri!, though its flashy and fancy, fits his mage background. But did I mention his Icelandic is dreadful?

You dont greet people by saying "Heilsa!", not at all, its like telling your dog "Sit!". You dont count Einn, Tvær, Þrjú. But Einn, Tveir Þrír. We set genders on words, female, male or neither (it). Counting male: Einn, Tveir, Þrír. Counting Female: Ein, Tvær, Þrjár. Counting neutral: Eitt, Tvö, Þrjú.

Sorry, we have grammar that seems nonexistent in English, Im allowed to point out the horror of his Icelandic skills.

But still... I love 'em! He's awesome... even though he's gay. If he isnt gay, then I dont know what's going on anymore. Maybe he's drunk on his own name (brennivín being liquor). He's like Páll Óskar, just fashion instead of singing. But thinking about that, Páll is one of the most famous people in Iceland.

That's what I'd call him. Brennivin does mean 'burning wine', and has another nickname 'black death'.
