i tried to make the pain go away, i cried cause the knife didn't work today

i tried to make things better, i cried cause he yelled,"i won't let her!"

i tried to leave this awful place, i cried cause my heart's floating in space

i tried to make them understand, i cried cause they always try to demand

i tried, i cried.

i tried to drown myself today, i cried cause my breath gave me away

i tried to make them say,"i've forgotten her.", i cried cause they can't make it better

i tried to get back from space, i cried cause my emotions won't stay in place

i tried to ignore the demand, i cried cause i don't even understand

i tried, i cried.
