Kladu The Deadman
Kladu The Deadman
Born in southern England in the year 1255 on September 18th. He was birthed under a middle aged human woman and her lover’s house. He bore no traits of either the demonic or the angelic but two simple green eyes. the couple were worried and took him to the village priest he claimed the child showed no signs of evil in his soul even so they baptized him in the holy waters and he was born a Christian and on that day he was named Victor redwen.
Later through the years of his child hood he shared and ifinity with animals mainly birds and the boy had a keen interest in drawing them. Other children were not weary of him for his green eyes many hardly noticed. It was the parents that were concerned. His mother and father loved him like any child but they two feared him being outcast for having slight differences. In the end he was treated like any other child and soon treated like any other young adult. By the age of 15 he started to take a hand in swordsman ship from his uncle who served under the towns defence.
He was quick and sharp with a blade yet as his uncle said he had "butter fingers" and had a tendency to drop his sword in mid battle. This soon wore of has the training continued and soon he was a fully accomplished swordsmen. And aided when bandits attacked the village.
Then it happened on the year 1273 he was taken down by an archer three arrows one though the heart and one through the ribs and one in the gut. The arrows had barely sliced his lung but it was enough to stop him breathing and the other arrow completely speared through his heart. His mother and father grieved as He was then buried along with his sword as a sign or respect on October the 3rd.
May the 10th a man showed up at an inn his clothes were covered in mud his hair was long and wild and his eyes a blaze with fear and anger. He could barely hold his clothes that draped around him. Collapsing on the door of the inn he was taken in by the Inn's midwife. A young attractive woman by the name of rose cooked and made the man food and drink giving it to him as quickly as possible. As he drank the water and ate the bread and meat she asked his name as he finished his food he muttered "Victor...Victor redwen" and with that he fell from consciousness.
He had somehow came back to life though nobody knew who he was his memories were filled with his families grieving and his last few minutes as he was shot by the archer. He told nobody not even rose of his family or death for fear of being cast out as a demon or beast. Over the months to come he lived in the inn keepers rooms paying his rent and meals by working there as a cleaner and servant. Though these were lowly jobs he was keen on doing them and he was liked by the inn keeper. And soon treated like a son and no longer had to clean for his food or rent but Victor refused and carried on to aid his saviours. After a few years of living with the innkeeper he soon moved to live with rose the girl who saved him as they both adopted feelings for each other. And soon had a family. He had two sons one called Vincent and one called Brian. Though on their birth both of them shared the eyes of their father.
Then one day the village he lived in was attacked by creatures from out of this world they bore huge black tusks and eyes that glowed with a dark blood lust. The villagers were slaughtered and the houses were burnt to the ground until the creatures had come upon victor and his family. His sons had fled and he and his wife were left there under the creature’s glare both of them beaten and bloody he begged the creatures to spare his wife’s life. But with one swing of its axe his love roses head came off like a flimsy piece of cloth.
He screamed with hate and anger at the two creatures his blood boiling like lava. His Green eyes fixed on the beasts. Then a man stepped from between the two creatures he was clad in dark robes and bore golden rings on his fingers and his eyes glowed a bright red. He spat at the ground blood mixed into the spit. He glared at victor and pulled a blade from his cloak it glowed silvery in the fiery light. As he swung it across victors face drawing blood from cheek to cheek and leaving a bloody scar. The man licked the blood and cringed "ABomination" he muttered. The creatures looked slight scared but as told they both raised their axes simultaneously. Each ready to cleave Victor’s head of. But a dark presence filled the air like a throat chocking breeze it made the creatures freeze in fear. As victor's face looked at the ground a dark purple fog enveloped his body in places as his breath was heavy and wild. His face soon lifted as his eyes now dark purple he stood up but the creatures swung there axes as fast as they could cleaving nothing but cloth rags. The man glared as he had seen victor vanish within seconds.
The beast to the left of the man roared with pain as the man and the second creature backed of gazing in astonishment and fear as a being clad in black armour stood hold a solid black blade in mid air with the huge creature impaled upon its tip. With a quick swing the blade tore through the creature’s side catapulting it of the blade and twisting mangled onto the dead grass. The dark knight lowered his blade and turned towards the man and the second beast both now holding their weapons up not ready for what now faced them. The beast ran at him in a blind fury but before its axe even lowered. Its arms dropped to the ground axe landing with a loud thud it screeched in pain as two bloody stumps sprayed dark blood everywhere. The knight grabbed its lower jaw as it tried to shake him free he pulled it down of its mouth and it sprayed blood onto the ground as it lay dead. The man now alone glared at him and shouted “an abomination... THATS ALL YOU ARE!” and the knight stood there blood now covering his black armour he said simply “No... I am kladu the Broken” with his new life he was ready for the challenges that awaited him and he knew with his powers he would be able to defend his children that had fled this village he would search for them and hopefully find them before the enemies that hunted him like these tonight did first...
