Changed Feelings

There was a time in my life when I thought I was living in hell
Time moved slowly
Everything was Dark and it felt like there was a knife in my heart
But then something appeared before my eyes
This light a light that came from the dark
Or was it just light itself?
I went closer to it
And I see a hand pulling me away from the darkness
After that it felt like I could smile once more
And the knife in my heart was dissolving
The knife was being replaced by love
Someone new was holding me
Loving and caring for me
Someone who was there for me
