This is the poem i made in language arts class xD
i read it in the poetry slam in school they say its depressing... But im not like that all the time

I call it LOST
Lost in life
Lost and unbalanced
Smiling and laughing on the surface
Opposite feelings slightly blended
Both feelings inside Should be ended

I feel so unbalanced,
Unable to touch the ground
No matter how hard I try

This is such a mess
School doesn’t make any sense
So many decisions to make
So many paths to take

Every time I think if my life was different
Or maybe I haven’t tried to enjoy this one
Everyone gets one chance at life
So Don’t pick up that knife

I feel so hollow
Or maybe its sorrow
There is a thing that makes me full
A thing that doesn’t make life so dull
Just cause’ my life is never really full

Everyone hears a chime
Anyone can make a rhyme
All they think is it’s a poem
To some ears it’s the heart singing

Notes written and played beautifully
But sometimes oh so ruefully
The song finishes then it ends….
Silence

As if life bends
People think the song ends
But if you listen carefully
You will hear a song


The song is played across your face
You can tell the emotions played
It’s all displayed in the windows.

The windows come in many colors
They are a window to the soul
But inside is different in their own way

Pay attention,
Don’t be thoughtless
Look around
Don’t you see?
I am Lost.
