Moon light fills the air tonight

A darkness in your eyes

I see you watch the moon

and the fireflies

It’s the fire in your soul

tearing you half

I hear the pain

even in your laugh

The song in your heart

is that of the trees

that longing alone

brings you to your knees

A beauty in your voice

the reek of your fur

the thought of it alone

makes memories blur

Its in your blood

no matter how you try

a howl escapes your lips

an ancient battle cry

This burden is yours

but you are not alone

the curse of the wolf

is as old as stone
