The professor tapped at the blackboard with his cane and began;
“In the beginning, there was nothing. Well, this isn’t the beginning as yet, this is a bit before the beginning. However, it’s important. So you must listen to this!”
‘Anyway, where was I? Yes, in the beginning, there was only the Creator. When he saw that there was nothing, he decided to create.
Now I’m going to be rather short about this, and skip the details and give you a short summary on this. No Jenkins, they will not ask what he created in the end of term examinations because he created everything. Now quit being such a foolish boy and let me finish!
Well he created the entire universe; he created some beings to micromanage this universe called ‘Angels.’
Yes, Alexander, ‘Angels’ was the name of the series of programs that he wrote, now could you stop interrupting me with silly questions. Not everyone here spends their entire life behind a computer screen like you do, so keep shush till I’m done!
He created these Angels to micro manage this universe and assist him. Each had their own unique personality and was given a form of intelligence In order to fulfill its duties efficiently. Some of these Angels were very proud of the job they were doing and had a feeling of accomplishment. The creator loved to create, and so he decided to make one who was of his own essence and knowledge. This one was intended to take over the place of the Creator and continue his work.
One of the Angels however, who was one of the highest amongst his peers was offended that there now existed a being that had been created more powerful than him. His pride was tarnished and he did war with the Creator, with other Angels who followed him. The Creator flung him from his presence and stripped him off of everything but his own consciousness. In this weak state, and now full of hatred because not only had his pride been hurt, he had been reduced to absolutely nothing. He feared and hated the Creator and vowed to do all that he could do destroy everything that was created, out of spite.
Meanwhile, the Creator made the Earth, and life that was similar to the Creator but less than him.
The Fallen Angels (Let us call them Demons) decided to destroy this new creation by engineering a similar act of defiance against the Creator. It was well known that the Creator believed in the rule of Open Source of Knowledge and made it easily accessible to any and everyone. However, none of the other beings took into it, because in order to even comprehend even a fraction of this knowledge, they would have to give up their form and existence. Everyone believed that their existence mattered more than some knowledge. It was the Creators intention to teach his beings about the dangers of Greed and the desire to attain all for one’s self, and wished to teach all of his creations, slowly in time everything that he knew.
As a warning, he had explicitly asked his new creation, ‘Humans’ not to eat the said fruit.
The Fallen Angels schemed to destroy God’s newest creation and tricked the first and very naïve, humans into consuming that knowledge and disobeying the Creator. Not only were they to now face their existence terminated, since they had disobeyed the Creator, they were removed from him.
The creator had anticipated this move that the Fallen Angels made and saw that it fit with his plans. Now that they had made the decision to choose knowledge in exchange for a finite existence, they had a chance to actually grow and get and understanding of the nature of things, making them perhaps more versatile and open to evolution than the other beings. Though their lives were finite, they would search for a manner to regain their immortality and even leave behind their understanding of knowledge which would be taken by the next generation of Humans and improved upon.
In this manner, though living and through experiencing things while trying to overcome death, they would become wise of the true nature of love, spirituality and all things imaginable.
What the Fallen Angels perceived to have destroyed the Creator’s creation ended up making them stronger and closer to the Creator himself.
The creator was gracious enough to allow those beings that willfully submitted to him and responded to his teachings during their existence, the promise of returning to him after death.”
The professor took a deep breath and watched in amusement at the rapt attention that his wide eyed pupil’s paid.
“The Fallen Angels did not give up after this, and proclaimed that they would torment, confuse and trick the Humans into blindness, so that they would be unwittingly lead to their destruction.
The Demons, as they were now known, tricked lesser animals into giving them their form, as they could not exist without one, and continued to torment the Humans from then on.
Some humans, who were weak and had been tricked into turning their backs on the Creator, began worshiping and fearing these Demons.
This lead to an unexpected result, this fear and worship for these demons made them stronger. It followed a perversion of how a person becomes more capable of doing grater things, the more people believe in and love him/her.
These demons began posing as the Creator himself in a bid to grow more powerful, and ended up enforcing religion onto the world. They were so successful that the Truth had been stretched beyond recognition.
The Creator took matters into his own hands and went to live amongst the mortals so that the truth and the true path to knowledge might be restored.
Though his earthly form was forced to experience Death, he had planted the seed and left it to the remaining ones to spread the word.
As for the Demons or ‘Gods’ he had another surprise for them….”
Bio
Name: Abel (Or whatever it is that I choose)
Age: Unknown although he appears to be in his early twenties.
Physical Attributes and Abilities: He’s rather short, around the average weight and does not look remarkably handsome. He does seem to possess super strength now after years of training, along with speed and teleportation. He’s also very resilient.
Physical limitations and disabilities: He has flat feet, an unfortunate condition that doesn’t allow him to run or use his speed for long durations of times. Sometimes, his feet may also lead to him tripping constantly. He also has no sense of balance.
Intellectual Attributes: He is of average intelligence and moderately creative.
Weapons: Two primary Kukri Blades, His secondary weapon happens to be Guns. For every event, he only carries one type, usually borrowed from someone else. Tertiary weapons (In the event that secondary are not available) consist of whatever is within hands reach.
Personality:
He is a kaleidoscope of things. He is in no way perfect; however it is very difficult to put a finger on exactly what sort of person he is. He is very naive, and believes in the goodness of people from the first go. He believes in second chances as he received one himself, and believes that everyone can change in some way or the other.
He’s neither shy, nor extroverted. He can make friends very quickly, and soon grows attached to those he seems to like. However, he can grow self conscious when they pick out a fault because he’s worried about losing them. He doesn’t fall into peer pressure, and believes in being his own person. He is the type of person who doesn’t give a damn when someone doesn’t like him, because they obviously don’t know him. However, he is very sensitive to the comments that the people he cares about make, because they know and love him for who he is and he’s very insistent of maintaining good relationships.
He can be aggressively flirty when he meets someone he likes, and uses his confidence to win them over. However, he is also secretly very insecure and has self image issues. Often this comes into light as he grows closer to someone. He believes in being strong and helping the people he cares about in any way he can, though he’s hesitant to accept help, as he doesn’t want to seem weak.
He’s usually very gentle, but can get angry and aggressive when people try to intimidate/bully him.
He has a lot of pride, even though he tries to remain humble and sometimes when someone hurts him beyond a limit, he can utterly despise that person.
When it comes to relationships, he can be a bit perverted and lustful, though he’s searching for someone he can spend the rest of his life with.
History:
During the Titanomachy, he was snatched from the present by Gaia (purely by accident) in order to assist Zeus in over throwing Chronos. As a soldier, he was forced to fight the Titans with the promise of being allowed to return home. He discovered the bones of Uranus by accident, and crafted a pair of Kukris out of them.
After Chronos was overthrown, he realized that Zeus had no intention of letting him go and would devour him as he owned a mighty weapon. As he lay in despair, he prayed out to anyone who was fair and just to save him. The Creator’s Son heard his words and saved him by allowing him to seek refuge in the Silver City. Over there, he learned of the true nature of the so called ‘Gods’ and was inspired by revenge to attack them. He trained with several angels, often losing and only coming close to drawing with them. Not thinking it through, he went to Olympus and challenged Zeus.
Zeus, now powered by all who feared and worshiped him, nearly killed the boy who was saved by the Son, again.
Zeus was angry over not being able to destroy the boy, so he went to the future, after all his living family and killed each one of them in order to give him a message.
In other words, while seeking for revenge, the boy himself was the cause of the death of anyone he had.
He was overcome with guilt and remorse, but the Son taught him to stay strong through trust and also made him realize the important of not following vengeance, but following the way that protects.
He was taught that by lowering the fear and worship that the Demons accumulated (through, either exposing them for who they were or attacking them till people realized that they weren’t as strong as they were believed to be) he could make them weaker, ultimately going back to their true form which was weaker than any human being. In contrast, he could gain strength through trust, and love. Also by having people who believed in him. It also worked to his benefit that whenever he killed one of the “Gods” Other demons and Fallen Angels begin to fear his name. This allowed him to maintain an Aura of intimidation and strength that he used to falter his enemies.
