Ok, so last Monday night my boyfriend and I went to see the Incredible Hulk movie (AWESOME MOVIE BY THE WAY!!!), in Manhattan and when it was over and we were walking to the train to go home, we passed by a homeless man asleep in the doorway of an abandoned store. I couldnt help but look at him and wonder where his life went wrong. What happened to him that he is now in the position hes in? As we were passing him, a man and his kid walked right up to me and the man said, "Look at this! In Manhattan. In America! Homeless people! This wouldnt happen in Canada!" I just nodded and hoped he would walk away. No such luck! He kept on and on about how bad the USA is, etc. etc. So, I finally, not being able to hold my tongue any longer, told him if he was so unhappy in the USA he needs to take his racist behind along with his ignorant son back to their country and do the tax payers a huge favor. Anyhoo...that was my Monday. That man totally ruined a good night for me and my boyfriend! scream Any thoughts on this?!?!? How would you have reacted if this happened to you?
