I was helping out with the Construction of the new Tojho Falls HQ when I got a message. I grabbed my pokepalm and then read the Following message.
~Mission~
The Hurricane and the Weather Institute
Well we all know about the Weather Institute and we all know about the destructive power of hurricanes. Well it seems a group of Castform got loose in the Weather Institute and the Castform came together and created a huge hurricane outside AND inside the Weather Insitute. Your mission is to go to the Weather Insitute and stop the Castform and save the Weather Insitute from being blown away. You will fight 6 Castform and once you KOd them return them to there pokeballs and make sure the Castform and the scientists are okay.
Opposition-Six Castform and be sure to get them back in there pokeballs.
Pokemon-You will recieve a Castform from one of the scientists for saving them.
Rewards-Depends I then close my palm and walked over to Sub and said “Got to go be back soon”. Sub looks up to see me find Piplup, Watz, and Sea an’ watch as I get back in my plane and head off somewhere.
“Sir where are we off to?” Asked the pilot Since I was sitting in the cockpit with him.
“To the Weather Institute in Hoeghn”.
“ok” he says as I get up and leave going to the Pokemon Play room. Shadar was wearing a Black shirt on and some Blue Jeans.
As I walk into the room I get bombard with a Mega- Ultra-Psychic bomb of little Plastic Play balls intended for Little Watz. As the balls tumbled down upon me I believe Sea learned of what she did and drove for cover under the sea of balls in the ball pit or the remainder of what use to be a ball pit. The Play room was full of little tunnels, and “tanning” bed for the Fire, ground, and rock types and any other pokemon. A little wave pool for the Pokemon and a slide that slid in to lower part of the Jet where the Pool was. The bottom part of the Jet also incorporated a small Frozen Isle for the Ice Types and some rafts. Piplup was once again the person you saw point and laugh at you and no this was no little laugh with you joke it was a total laugh in your face kinda off way. Watz was gone from under my feet probably to dodge the rain of balls so I do the best thing possible and chase Piplup in to the “Pit”. I was having fun with this. As I watched Piplup dive into the “Pit” I saw Sea poke her head out and let out a Squeal. I dove in after the Pokemon and started scanning the balls. When I found Piplup he started to scream and ran out of the “pit” and it the “Aqua Level”. Sea stayed in the pit until I found her then she levitated me out of the “pit” and in to the Aqua Level. I walked away from the water and still got a mouth full of water thanks to Piplup. “Ok you know what you little rascal” I looked like I was about ready to jump in to water when my favorite little Watz decides I was serious and Jumps on his back knocking Shadar into the water along with himself. Sea slide down the slide and got in with us. After about twenty Minutes the Pilots voice was heard and Said “We are about to land now sir”. Sea used Psychic and got him out of the water. I Rushed to the bathroom and changed cloths to a little formal White khaki pants and a Blue T- shirt. I returned to my seat by the bathroom Elevator and gets in his seat. A few seconds after I was in my seat Piplup, Watz, and Sea came in and got in their seats. Piplup had a Water chair. The chair would Eject some cool mist or water from the jets in it onto the pokemon. Sea had a chair similar to Piplup’s. Watz had a pad more then a chair. The Pad could buckle around his waist and then he could lay down while the Jet took off or landed. Piplup’s chair was blue, Sea’s chair was yellow and Watz’s pad was Brown. From the speaker on my chair the pilot said “sir since the air currents around the Institute are Unstable I am going to land in Fortree> is that ok?” Shadar looked out the window to see a small blue River coated with thunderclouds. Shadar press a Button on his chair and stated “Fortree will be fine but at the slightest change in weather I want you off the ground.”
“Affirmative sir” The pilot replied with a relaxed voice.
The plane landed as if they were going to land anyway. The jet slowed to a stop and ended up next to a Tree House. Shadar looked down to see Piplup and Watz were at the pokemon door waiting for the pilot. I glanced over at Sea to find her confused. “We installed an Elevator so you can ride down the slide and go back up the Elevator while I get out of the Jet the old fashion way. (Stairs) The pilot slowly Emerged from the cockpit. He walks over and sees the pokemon waiting, he smiles and opens their pokemon door first. As the door squeaks open both attempt to squeeze past the other. They both finally popped though thanks to the anonymous help of Sea both Pokemon landed with a thud on wood boards puzzling both pokemon. With her head held low Sea walked past the Pokemon. I got of my Seat and laughed as I saw the pokemon. I stepped out in to the fresh air.
Fortree was like your normal small community. Tightly woven together, interdependent on each other, small families, nice and kind neighbors, cool pokemon next to some ancient ruins and oh live in the trees. The houses are made around the trees and not in them. The only thing not in a tree as the gym which was a reasonably large size. Shadar walked out onto the wooden plank bridge when he heard Piplup scream. (Yes) Piplup looked between the planks and was now to scared to walk across the bridge. I was about to walk back when once a again the invisible force of Sea “helped” him across the bridge. The little guy never did open one of his eyes. As we neared the ladder a man came over and stepped in front of it.
“Where are you going there is a rampage of Castform causing a hurricane down at the Institute. Any one got going near the bridge near there is either sent tumbling in to the Carvanha filled river or you get whisked into the Institute by the castform. Said a young man no taller then me.
“I know sir-
“Then Why are you being so stupid as to go there?” the man interruppeted
“To stop the Castform. I am Shadar from the Team Snagem here to help make peace and not to cause mayhem”
“Fine go ahead and get yourself hurt” the man mumbled and walk back in to his house.
“Ok you guys you can come out now.” I said climbing down the ladder revealing Watz and Piplup who most of been scared of the man. Sea used confusion to lower herself, Piplup and Watz down to the ground. For me the Drop was only ten feet but to the pokemon beside Sea it was much worse. As we neared the ground I felt a terrible gust of wind soar into the village.
“The hurricane is getting stronger or at least the castform are coming up this way. Piplup as the mention of a pokemon got brave thinking of what happened at Cerulean and Toge village he was raring to go. (For the people reading this and do not now what happened at the two. Let me Explain. At cerulean Gym a rampaging Golduck trapped my Watz beneath a couple inch thick layer of Ice under Water. During the Rescue of Toge Village I got bite/scratched/grazed with a Poison Fang. Little Piplup never really I think ever did forgive himself for not being able to help save us really upset him.) He did not want any more accidents that involved his friends. Watz was prepared to help out Piplup since he wanted to go back or at least wanted to get back on the plane. Sea did not know what to expect but I think She was ready for whatever came her way. We all slowly walked past “corner’ of trees and Saw the Ravaged Remains of the Institute and the remains of the Bridge. The building itself was destroyed by either the pokemon or the Storm you couldn’t tell. I walked farther down the path way that led to the bridge. As I got closer and closer to the bridge I could feel the wind grow and grow instead of Shrink down. I had reached the bridge when once again I was the target this time I was not going to be stupid I Caught the object between my middle and index finger. It was a card that read
“do not come across”. The writing itself was kind of messed up but I had a neck for deciphering the undecipherable.
“It says don’t cross, but I don’t believe this writer has no idea who we are.” I started to walk across the bridge slowly. Piplup tried to walk across the bridge to but I gave him the stern no look and finger look. This was look was present when ever someone was asking me something an’ I did not like it and was on the phone or deep in thought. So in order to stay on task I invented the Stern look and Finger NO. Piplup stopped and backed away. Shadar looked over the bridges non present rope railing and looked over to the the little tiny Carvanha waiting for him to fall. Shadar was half way across the bridge when another card wisped past his head and into one of the four remaining ropes that tethered the bridge where it was and not it to the stream. Slowly and Steady the ropes on the opposite side where I stood started to unravel. Crud as I made a last ditch effort to jump across the Stream but I fell for the wind pushed me over the edge along with the bridge. I was prepared to be eaten alive but For my Sake I was lucky to have brought my life Saver, Sea. As Sea held me inches from the water mustering the strength to lift me onto a safe ledge or the other side a Carvanha got a little to close for Piplup’s comfort and blasted the little thing into a wall. As I was lifted to a side the Carvanha jumped again at me but this time where teeth could have hurt me it floundered at whacked me with its rough skinned tail. I yelped with pain as it reopened the wound from Toge village’s Poison Fang. The wound was between my Elbow and my wrist. As I cursed under my breath that Carvanha got hit by everything my pokemon could throw at it. The Wind picked up and attacked the pokemon as well with a razor wind. Piplup fired a bubblebeam with a direction guide known as Psychic, Carvanha floated down stream KO’d. Sea Teleported herself over here. She Checked my wound then looked very Sourly down at the River. The Wind Stopped howling and the Carvanha quit jumping up. It was
eerie when Sea ever got extremely mad at something. Piplup was angry as well as Watz. Sea brought them over as they to inspected my wound.
“Please you guys don’t get so worried I am fine”. As I said clutching my useless arm.
From somewhere inside my mind I heard beyond the mindless prattle of Sea’s Talk.
“Shadar we need to get you to a hospital.” Sea’s voice was young and quiet. She sounded very motherly.
“No, Sea these scientists could be hurt beyond me. We must stop this Castform. We need to help them” At the mention of Saving the Scientists the wind kicked up but Sea was going to have her way. She enshrouded me and the rest of the pokemon.
“Very well, but promise me you will try not to do anything that could hurt you again.” Sea said with a worried look on her face.
“Fine I will be carful but we have a bigger problem about that.” All of the pokemon stood Wide Eyed
“You have to Capture the castform in their pokeballs.” Sea Gasped in my mind.
“I don’t know how this is going to turn out but I don’t think that this mission is going to go easy.” Shadar said looking into the Dangerous building.
All of them made it into the entrance hall which felt stronger then it did outside. As we made our way though the green Wallpapered hallway we found that all the doors were locked shut. Just as Piplup was about to round the corner of the hallway he stepped back and we were greeted by a flying chair that flew into the near by wall. The wall was reduced to splinters. More objects fly into the wall in the next Five minutes. After Piplup found it was safe we found our selves on the top of a two floored circular room. At the top of the room was a Glass dome that was still intact. The pokemon and I were confused so we walked against the wind down some remaining stairs. The pokemon were protecting me and Piplup was the one taking the Dangerous risks first. I was proud to call them mine. These pokemon were risking their lives for me. I smiled, watz was protecting Sea, Piplup was doing dangerous things and Sea was really Irritated. The world was upside down with these Castform on a Rampage. As I descended down the stairs I got sight of what looked to be a Castform Hiding behind some downed Equipment. Sea got sight of hit and Took it down with Confusion and brought it out on into the open. The little thing looked like a giant water droplet masked behind “the clothing” of the Clouds. Eevee was not going to let this one go. He screamed releasing a supersonic. The Castform became confused and started to fall to the ground I grabbed a pokeball with my remaining hand put it in the Snag machine and Threw it. The ball hit the Castform on the center of his forehead cloud. The pokemon disappeared into the flashing pokeball and stopped with a soft “bing”. The Storm let up a small bit but it still raged.
“The castform hold this storm above the Institute, but why are they doing it?” Said commenting on the capture of the Castform.
“ I have to agree with you but I would need some more Castform to prove that right no where are the scientists?” I walked over to the pokeball and released the Castform. The Castform was now in its normal gray self. It looked over to Me then to the Pokemon. It glided over to my arm and looked at it. The Castform looked as though it was about to cry then it fly to Sea and stared at her.
“The castform apologizes about your Injury, she didn’t mean to caus trouble warning us. The Scientist are in the room next to the second door on the right of the third floor in the second hallway to the right of the stairs. In the Storm Operating room”. Sea said speaking
into My mind again. “Castform would be happy to lead the way but since the others are in the way we could have some trouble.” Sea said finishing her translation.
“Ok I am fine with this but he have to leave now my arm is not getting and more healed and I think I am running low in blood.
Sea looked at Castform and then to the other pokemon as she told me to move ahead with Cast form. Castform was very nice floating near my feet guiding me on my way to go. As we neared our second Hallway toward the Staircase we reached another Castform guarding the stairs. Since Piplup, Sea and Watz did not come back from that room We had to wait and keep an eye on the castform. This one was not like the one I caught. This castform was now the form of a Solrock but this one still had the blue eyes in the center and was much redder. After I completed my observation of the pokemon I heard the sounds of a returning Piplup and Watz with no Sea.
As I start to look for Sea an accident happens. Sea has teleported a little to close and a little farther away then expected and ended up with bandages around her bill. As she find out she is in front of a castform runs our way. Piplup jumped in front if the Castform and launched a Bubblebeam at close range. The beam knock Piplup into the wall behind him and Castform unto the steps destroying them. In the process as it spins launching a Heat Wave at the helpless Piplup. As I watched in horror as Piplup slowly opened his eyes the Wave collided with him exploding on impact. I was about to burst in to tears for my no longer alive friend when he jumped from the ring of destruction with no scratches instead Piplup was going to end this battle with a double bubble. In mid air Piplup launched a bubble then as he fell to the ground he launched a bubblebeam. Both hits collided with the Castform knocking it out cold. Shadar looked at his little Piplup. He was battered an’ bruised but he was not giving up. I threw a pokeball with the help of Sea since I couldn’t any more.
We got it and Watz ran and got it for me. Since we had a guide though the Institute I put this pokeball away. I took the bandages from Sea’s Bill and wrapped them around my arm. We returned to the same order as we had before. Castform would be at the front and lead the way with Piplup in front of me finding a route for me to take. I would follow Piplup and Sea who stayed with Watz to protect the rear of any of the other Castform found out. The wind had died down from either the capture of another Castform or from us proceeding closer to the center of the Institute. We neared the end of the Steps five minutes after climbing them. Castform floated over to a Four way intersection when we stopped. Not only was there a castform but there was a hole from at which I could not cross. I neared the Edge of the hole when Piplup pushed me back.
“Sea can you get us Across” I said looking at her
“Sadly I cannot. If I carried you across I would not have enough energy to take the others across and Vice Versa. If a ditch this wide there must be another way around.” Sea looks over at Castform. At the sound of Sea talking to Castform eased me. As I looked around I could
not find the castform. The thought finally hit me, I slowly kept toward the edge and caught sight a smart Castform hiding in the Hole. This one was different. It had the appearance of a giant floating snowflake. It was white and could be seen right though it. Castform hovered down to it
and talked to the creature of a pokemon. Watz starts to walk back when he notices that the walls can be talked or broken down. They were wide enough to cover the hole enough to get across. Watz runs over to me and Bites on my pants leg. He shows to the wall and how it can be taken down. The castform comes back up and talks to Sea
“Castfrom said that the there is no other way to the Scientist then from that Staircase. The pokemon done at the bottom of the hole is weak against fire attacks. Shadar tell me what you are doing. Please.” Sea said with a puzzling look on her face.
“Watz found out the we can possibly use the walls to make a path way to climb across the Hole but that Castform is in the Way”. Shadar said trying to think of a way to use the wall with out disturbing the castform. Sea had a plan and from the sound of it, it was going to work. So we began to work it out. I was to keep watch (probably cause that was the only job I could not hurt my arm worse then I could with the others), Piplup and Watz were to get the walls down quietly. Sea was put the pieces over the hole while Castform was to measure how many wall panels were to be used and to distract the other Castform. As I looked down into the darkness I realized there was a problem. I called out to Sea with my Mind.
“WE ARE ABOVE THE SCIENTISTS. WE ARE ON THE FOURTH FLOOR” I said almost screaming into Sea’s mind.
Has I looked over to Sea her eyes got big and she told Watz and Piplup. Sea contacted Castform with her mind and told her as well. She looked down to see not only a room but it was the room with the scientists in it. We had to come up with a plan and now. The Castform was trapped staring at the Guard for the Scientists. Sea teleported to the scientists and used psychic to protect the scientists. Piplup Shot a bubble beam toward the Castform and shot it into the side of the hole. Watz being afraid only used supersonic to confuse it. The castform in the hole, our friendly castform, tackled the evil pokemon a couple of times before descending to the floor near the scientists. Many Scientists moved away from the pokemon as though it had a disease or it was going to hurt them. One Scientist looked up to see Watz hop down a few ledges to the Castform which was knocked thanks to our friendly Castform. I “threw” the pokeball at the castform and
waited for something to happen. Bing. The sound Echoed through the Hole until it reached the Ends. I waited for a message from Sea but I got the usually motherly help. She lowered me down the center so I could not rip the bandages. When I reached the bottom I found out that the scientist have had nothing to eat expect a few pieces of pokemon food and some water from the castform’s melting form. I walked over to the scientist holding the Weaken Castform. I released the other castform to the scientist to see them all.
“What did you do to them? A scientist seating next to the Snow flake Castform. “They weren’t this nice since the Accident”.
“What Accident?” I said pursing the topic. The scientist looked at the others and said to me
“One Week ago we all were working on the transformation that Castform can go under depending on the Weather. I were able to find this form that the Castform could go under if they have seen snow and just snow with no Hail. If there is hail then the Castform transform into what we called Storm Mode. The Castform have five different modes with one different Abilities for each mode. We were trying to test the Castform for their ability, and if they could change again or mix the modes. You see what happened. This is mess was caused by us. We had the original Castform locked in this very room. We were hoping if the castform was alone by itself it would change back or at least calm done. Neither happened for when this got out, word leaked to Team Blast off and they hoped to steal one of the Castform, and some data. Their explosive Entrance into the building left said hole though which you entered from. The Hurricane Castform left though the hole but not before expelling the Peons of Team Blast off. The calamity surprised the Castform so bad they did not need the environmental requirements and instead of basing their power on the Environment the changed it and could make their own powers. I figured out that the castform needed only a few second in a pokeball to return to their normal selves. Thanks to you we are no mostly freed, we have two free the hurricane Castform and the Wind Castform. The Wind Castform as the appearance of a Funnel Cloud. That castform is the weakest of the bunch but has the strongest attack power. The Hurricane Castform was the newest one we had got. We are very sorry that it came to this. We think that for Either a simple attack could render them incapable to fight back against the capture and if they are captured and escape we believe that the castform will return back to its normal self.” The scientist looking back at his collages for anything that he may have left out. I stood up clutching my arm still the bandages were starting to soak in the remaining blood I had.
“Does any one know where either of the Castform are? I asked aloud to the entire staff.
“Hurricane is on the roof”. Said one scientists. I nodded at Sea and she teleported to the roof.
“The Air Castform is I think also up there with Hurricane.” Said another. Many of the Scientist then grew deathly pale.
“What is the matter?”I asked them as they all turned toward the hole which huge gusts of wind were blowing in. Sea returned by to my side.
That would be the Air Castform.” Sea said turning to face Me.
The Scientists were all thrown to the wall. When another more powerful gust blew in revealing a sinster pair of red Eyes coated with a cloak of Black clouds. You could see a pair of Arms but no feet or legs. The figure stopped the gusts that it was created an launched a thunder at my arm. Sea was ticked off at this castform scared or not sea was going to have some revenge for that attack on her friend. Sea stepped in front of the lightning and used Confusion. The attack slowed to a stop inchs in front of her face. A pause came and she redirected it the Air Castform. Hurricane was not concern for the other friend as the bolt struck it down paralyzed. A pokeball flew from a scientist and then the wind died altogether. Piplup now had taken Sea’s place since she had used lots of energy to do what she just did. Piplup was ready standing in front of me. He let lose a bubble attack to see the response. The reaction was the same a gust that reminded Me of the razor wind. Piplup got this and dodged along with me and the scientist behind me. Watz was helping a couple scientists break out of here and into a safer hallway. As I yelled for the group to move Piplup caught my drift and fired the bubble again with the same response this time when we dodged the blow the door suffer under the weight and burst open. Hurricane noticed the open door and hover in front of the door stopping the none of the scientist but allowing a good combination of Bubblebeam, supersonic ,and Quick attack to knock it Castform into the wall behind it. A scientist threw a pokeball but this Castform was smart smacking to ball away from it and toward my arm it collided with it send pain rippling though my body. Watz finish this battle with the remained of Supersonic and letting a full powered bubblebeam and bubble combination finish it off. The castform floated to the middle of the floor where a pale beam of moonlight drifted into the room and the remaining energy that I had was spent on throwing this pokeball back at the castform. With the ball out of my hand I fell to the ground drifting into a quiet sleep. I remained wake until I heard one simple sound which meant it was safe to Sleep. The room got deathly silent until that sound which passed me into my long since waited for rest. “Bing” was that sound, the sound of Capture.
I woke in my Jet with no one in here but my Pokemon which were bandaged and were sleeping heavy sleep. I slipped out of the bed and into some more comfortable clothes. The bandages were still there but luckily were no stitches. Those things only would have slowed me down. With these bandages I can still use my arm. The only thing different about this was on my night table was a note from Nurse Joy
Dear Shadar,
I am sorry to hear about what happened to your arm. Your pilot asked for me note to stitch your arm up since you were out cold and your opinion could not be voiced. The Pokemon will be ok as long as they get some rest. Now Shadar if you would please if you are not in the middle of something important I would like to ask you to wear the splint so that he can not nor will have to ability to hurt it. I am sorry for the inconvenience Nurse Joy.
I must thank Nurse Joy for the instructions. As I walked out of my jet I found out that we were at the Institute still. The building was fixed up on the outside. I walked down the steps with my splint on I walked into the building to find out that most of it was fixed. The scientists came out to greet me with some presents I refused them all. The friendly Castform flew out to say goodbye when one of the scientists gave me the pokeball. I was confused
“Don’t you need Castform still?”
“No” came a voice from all of the Scientists.
The scientist that explained the situation to me told me that this Castform would not let us take you out to nurse Joy. He is very attached to you and so we would like give him to you as a token of Appreciation for saving us.”
The castform was very cute. The little eyes were filled with tears ready to burst if I said no but this was a different time.
“Thank you gentlemen you are to kind. The pokemon did most of the work.” I said blushing the Castform as happy and zipped around my head. The only thought I had was
“Great now I have two hyper Pokemon.” I rolled my eyes and said Good Bye to the Scientists.
We flew off and the pilot took us to Tohjo Falls. I sent a message again to Sub saying.
