This Girl

There's this girl
Who puts my mind in a wirl
Not from beauty or grace
But from being something other than a pretty face
Smart, funny, and strait fun to be around
For awhile something I'd never found
But now I've found it
And I just cant let it sit
This girl is what I've been looking for
Cute, smart,sexy, and so much more
Plus she's a poet like me
Another reason why I just cant let it be
This girl has put my mind in a swirl
This girl who makes me feel like I'm in another world
One without pain or saddness
Without grief or maddness
Yet this girl who's name I will not say
Has felt that pain, to my dismay
And I know from experience how bad it can feel
So to this girl I will be her shield
To protect he from the saddness
Keep away the maddness
All I want is to see her smile
For which I would gladly run a mile
