Chapter 3
Bazaar Dreams
*Evan was awaken by his father's voice . His father said "Good morning." Evan simply said "Morning as he stretched and yawned. "Well Happy Birthday and welcome to adulthood. Its full of taxes and politics." It was Evan's birthday on Halloween ironically enough. "Thanks dad," Evan said. "So what do you want do you for your 18th birthday? Strip club? Buy some porn? Vote?" His dad said. "EWWW DAD THAT'S GROSS NOT WITH YOU!!!!" "Actually I wanted to go for a hike," Evan said. What Evan was really thinking was about the bazaar dream he had last night. In the dream he had last night. In the dream Evan was standing in front of a mysterious cloaked figure. The figure kept repeating the same thing over and over again.
*When a child is born on All Hallo's Eve at the Bewitching Hour the child of two halves shall be born. When the child reaches his 18th year of birth the moon shall be reviled he will be in his human half, but he transformed into his other half on this night. This other half will be a beastly half . The child will receive a mark signifying the transformation. This will complete the child's change the child's transformation change into half man and half beast.
*He could recall all of the dream including the fact that both he and the mysterious figure were surrounded by a fog so thick that one could loose themselves in. The thing that really had him frustrated was that he could not make out anything about this man. His whole body was covered in a full length cloak and his entire face was covered by a hood. However Evan was able to hear the man's deep booming voice. Evan would never be able to forget that voice. The mere thought of it sent a shiver down his spine. "What an odd dream," Evan thought to himself as he scratched his head. "I definitely should not tell dad about this even if he is a shrink." After his parent's divorce Evan had taken it it rather hard so his parents both finally agreed on something. They deiced it would be best for Evan if he was placed in therapy. Two things that pissed Evan off about his shrink. First off he would always saw,"Hmmmm or how are you felling today?" Evan never openly said how he was feeling, but in his mind he would say,"I'm pissed because if you ask me that hmmmm one more time I'll take that clipboard you're always writing on and shove it down your trough." But he always said,"Fine." What got him pissed is that this shrink . So if he said anything about his dad he would know. Evan found that out the hard way when he first started go to his shrink. He said, "My dad losses his anger very quickly and sometimes he'll blame it on me." The next his father brought it up with him so from that day on he decided not to tell his therapist any information he did want his dad to hear. Thankfully he stopped going. When it was his dads week end, which was every other weekend his father would try to shrink him up, but Evan would always quickly change the subject. His father noticed something was bothering his son, but he shook it off after all it was his birthday. Evan's
father spoke up,"A hike sounds great, but only after breakfast." Evan got up and wished to change out of his sweat pants and T-shirt, but not in front of his dad that's way too weird. Evan said, "Ummm dad could you leave while I get changed?" "Sure thing birthday boy or should I say birthday man. Considering you're an 18 years old now. Evan just rolled his eyes and thought "Are all dads corny or is it just mine?" After his finally exiting the tent Evan went to his duffle bag and grabbed a white T-shirt, a pair of black socks, a pair of gray boxers, a black zipper down hoodie, loose light-blue jeans, and his hiking boots. He put it all on and tied the hoodie around his waist. All in all, with his crow black hair, bangs almost in his eyes, and gray-blue eyes, he looked pretty good. When he exited the tent and sitting down his dad severed him eggs over easy, with sausage, and bread. After taking a bite Evan said, "Wow dad this great." "Glad you like it kido, or should i say adulto." Evan yet again rolled his eyes. His dad pointed at him with the spatula and said, "Evan if you keep rolling your eyes like that and one of these days they'll get stuck." Evan just mocked everything his dad just said. Then he said, "Dad you've told me that a million times and they haven't gotten stuck yet. I doubt that they ever will. "Alright you got me, but lets hurry up so we can go on that hike," Evan's father said as he sat down in front of him. "Okay," was all Evan said as he continued to eat his breakfast.
