Far away, in a distant land, there is a kingdom called Mage. It is home to five warriors. Foo, Soubi, Rowan, Nee, and Tsume. These are the five elementals who can save this kingdom. In their hands lies the fate of countless races. In their hands alone, is the power to restore this land to its true, unaltered form. We begin with the rising of their power, the power to save our kingdom.
Thunder. Endless in its sound. With the power of it's maker, Soubi reigns. In his hands, his very being, he holds the power of lightning. An almost endless charge is his to do with as he sees fit. He can absorb it, drain it from a socket, or pull it from a light. He can mold it as he sees fit. Send a spark, bent to his will, across a field. This is Soubi's power. Full mastery over any form of electricity.
What is thunder and lightning without the storm? All three run hand in hand. The storm forms and lightning and thunder follow. Rowan is the storm. Every variation of weather is hers to mold. Snow in summer? Not a problem. She can form isolated storms and avert the power of a hurricane. This is Rowan's power. Complete control over the true elements. Control over weather.
Lightning strikes a tree. A tree long since dead. Sudden as the strike, flames taste and devour this tree. The flame is there for Tsume's pleasure. Creating it in the palm of her hand, or making a raging forest fire cold to the touch. Harmless to those who come in contact with it. Breath of fire and astery over it are hers to do with as she will. This is Tsume's power. Mastery over all things burning.
A drop, a single drop of water falling from the sky. A meaningless thing? No, far greater in Foo's hands. Pulling it from the air, moving it like the tide. Foo bends water to her will. Shecan become it, the water itself. Watching as others pass her by. Stopping tsunamis is her strength. This is Foo's power. Power of the sea, in its fury and grace.
A stone, standing strong beneath the rain and flames. Harmless, yet mighty. It is naught but a forgotten item of little value? No. It is everything Nee needs to do battle. Molding it into blades, hard as steel. Changing the flow of molten rock flowing from a volcano's flaming mouth, yet curbing the heat of it. Dirt and stone are meerly and extention of her will. Forming lumbering golems with strength to spare. This is Nee's power the might of all things of the solid earth in its unaltered form.

I will be adding other chapters later when I finish one. Next is the origin...how they get those awesome powers and you may be able to speculate on what Mage is really like.
