Dreams I've had.
I wish to share some dreams to you that I remember from days passed. Let's start small. I was about six or seven, living with both of my parents. It was a warm spring evening when I started to fall asleep. I started to dream. From what I remember, I woke up in my bed, and walked down the hall to go to the bathroom. Suddenly, my mother's voice beckoned me as I passed her room. She wanted me to take our dog Tabitha to the door. I walked her to the kitchen area. When we arrived, she sprinted away back down the hall. I looked at the window, where a silhouette of a big scary monster set in the moonlight lurked in the window, staring at me with big red eyes. Then, he thrust his hand through the glass and stepped through. I ran down the hall to the best of my ability, but my legs were so heavy, and when I tried to scream, no sound came to breath. Then, the monster struck a blow to my back, and I tumbled to the floor. I tried to stand back up, but the monster got me, and I woke up. The next dream I wish to describe to you is one I kept on having throughout my childhood. I really haven't found a way to describe it due to its vividness, but I?ll do my best. In this dream, I'm nobody- I'm something, but I could never figure out if I was me or an animal or something else. The setting I was in consisted of a weird red-orange background much like it was aflame. I don't remember what the figures I saw were, but I do remember the feeling I had. I felt that I was so small and pitiful: I felt overpowered by the behemoths that tried to crush me in some instances. This dream has left me clueless to date. Although I have no grip on where I was, who I was-or what, or what it all meant. Which is why I'm leaving it at that. Maybe I'll figure it out later. Another dream I remember from my past is from when I was twelve, I think. I remember falling asleep on the living room sofa. I woke up in my dream. Then, I went to the window, and I saw a tree that had a distinct shape in the woods next to all the other trees. Suddenly, this tree began to morph into a massive fire-breathing dragon. I was very scared, because I was trapped in my house, and I just knew that if the dragon saw me in the window, I'd be toast. But in a nightmare, bad things happen. The dragon turned it's head to see me in the window. I tried to hide behind the couch, (I was small enough to fit there back then.) but the dragon caught the house on fire with its breath. There were flames all around me. Burning me up And I could do nothing. It's another dream that stayed with me through the years. It's amazing how one can remember something that never happened. That's why I think dreams are special. There are many other dreams I've had, but in this paper, I've spoke of the ones that stayed with me through my life~ So far.
