Three Way Triangle
Grabbing her coat off the hook infront of her apartement Door. She looked down at her watch and her face went pale. " AHH, Im late again!" She said as she slammed the door shut and ran down the stairs. As she exited the building onto the streets, She sighed and ran her way to the subway.
"God today is already screwed!" Aurora thought as she waited for her train...Why did she have to be late on a short day of classes like Saturday? That'll teach her she wasn't gonna watch any more movies with her favourite actor in them on school nights anymore! Just as the train pulled into the station she say a familer flash of the school uniform. She stuck out her foot and tripped Mayu one of her class mates.
"Nyaaaaaa, Where's Mayu-Chan...?" Cori said as he waited outside the school, it seemed his best friend would be late again. "You SO owe me Mayu-Chan...." So off he went to give his teacher an excuse to why Mayu would be late.
" Jeez she could have said hi or something!" Aurora thought as she made her way towards the school.Just tells ya that hoolers are really stuck up!
Mayu entered the doors of then school and caught her breath for a moment before hearing the bell ring. She smiled and started walking toward class until she saw a familiar figure. She giggled and jumped onto it's back " Good Morning Cori-kun!" She said.
"Mayu-Chan! Just in time, I was worried I would have to use the "fish ate your apartment" excuse again!" he said as he placed Mayu onto the ground. "Now, before we're REALLY late, to ENGLISH CLASS!"
Aurora scoughed at Mayu as she saw her hugging her best friend. She seriously couldn't see what Cori saw in that girl...Oh well she thought to English class I go!
Mayu giggled at Cori's excuse and nodded her head. She and Cori had been friends since the beginning of the year. She opened the class door and sat down in her seat just in time for the class to start.
Class went by with minimal excitement for Cori, english was too easy, it was his best class, Mayu on the other hand, sucked at english, which is why she was prodding his shoulder. "No Mayu, I will NOT do your homework for you.....not again at least." He sweatdropped as he said the last part.
Aurora thought now was her chance to get Cori's attetnion. She would go up to him and him to tutor her her grades were crappy so it was a good excuse, she'd even be nice to Mayu if it meant Cori would talk to her. taking a deep breath she got out of her seat and walked up to Cori's desk where she just kinda stood there
Mayu gave Cori her best puppy dog eyes. " Please Cori-kun!" She said. She then noticed that Aurora had come up. MAyu straightened up then looked at her.
Aurora cleared her throat. " Uh, hi Mayu sorry about this morning, the hair made me think you were Dara." Aurora said giving mayu a huge smile. "Um Cori-kun I was wondering if you were interested in tutoring students? I really need help in the class ..."she asked in a sweet voice
"Hm, Oh Aurora-San! Sure, I'd love to help." Cori said nicely. "No Mayu, the last time I did your homework, we got busted."
Mayu shook her green braid off of her shoulder and then gave a weak smile. " Ohh, Thats okay Aurora," She said in a sarcastic voice " We all make mistakes." She then bent over and grabbed her book off of Cori' desk and smiled at him. " See you next period Cori-kun!" She said then walked away and on purpose bumped into Aurora making her almost fall over.
That b***h aurora thought. "Oh Mayu!" she called out. Why don't we all go for drinks after school?""Wouldn't that be nice Cori-kun?"
Mayu turned around and giggled. Your trying to hard, She thought. " Ohh I'd love to," She said smiling. As the bell rang Mayu then grabbed Cori's arm and waved goodbye to Aurora and pulled him out he door.
Cori smiled. "Yeah that would be nice." He then looked at Mayu. "Fine, I'll do SOME of your homework, but that's about it." The last part was said with a sigh.
She was so happy she couldn't wait! Drinks with Cori! Yay! To bad the whore was gonna be there too....
Mayu sat down at a table under a blossom tree. Lunch time always seemed to go by to fast for her.She pulled out her packed lunch, It was the samething everyday, Ramen and green tea. She sighed and started to eat.
"Jeeze Mayu, dont you ever get tired of that.....?" Cori joked as he sat beside her, taking out his own lunch, pork stirfry and pocky.
Mayu looked over and gave a weak smile. "When can I afford something more," She said.
Aurora was walking with her friend Dara when she noticed Cori and Mayu eating lunch. "Hey Dara I've gotta go do something so talk to you later." With that she ran in the direction of Cori
"Get a job then, I live alone too, well.......only when Alii's not there....." Cori smiled sheepishly. "Point being, I can still aford things.......but haveing 3 jobs kills."
Mayu noticed Aurora runnng toward them from the corer of her eye and frowned. She then leaned over and hugged Cori and smiled. " I have a job remember," She said giggling.
Aurora stopped at the table and gave Mayu one her biggest smiles. She was just trying to make her jealous! "Cori-kun Mayu-chan would you mind if ate lunch with you? We should discuss our plans for this evening"
"Oh, uh, sure, Aurora-San, have a seat!" Cori smiled.
Mayu played along and smiled back. " If you wish," She said throwing her braid over her shoulder.
Aurora took a seat. " So i was wondering if we should go out for dinner and the we could go to a kareoke bar" She gives Cori a reeally cute smile. "Oh course you'll have to order the drinks for us.."
"Hey hey, I only looks like I'm 18...." Cori sighed. "They wouldnt believe me."
"of course they would you look very mature" Aurora said
Mayu raised an eyebrow and then took a drink of her tea. What does she think shes pulling, she thought while placing her tea back down on the table. " what a wonderful idea, " She said .Mayu looked over at Cori and Smiled. " Come one Cori-kun it'll be fun," She giggled.
"Okay, fine, I'll persuade them...." Cori sighed in defeat.
"I know Mayu-chan we're gonna have so much fun!" Aurora said "Yay Cori-kun!"Aurora gives him a hug
Mayu continued smiling and nodded her head. Get your filty hands off him, she thought inside her head as she started to pack up her lunch.
"oh Mayu-chan I was wondering what you'll be wearing tonight! Because we could dress in the same manner! It would be really fun!"
"Uhm....I sense,,,,tension....." Cori gulped.
"Never Cori-kun Mayu and I are friends! Aren'y we" Aurora smiled.
Mayu looked over at Aurora and smiled, nodding her head at Cori. " I think I'll hear a skirt or something," She said grabbing Aurora's hand from across the table.
"Oh how short MAyu-chan? I was thinking of wearing my cute pink one! But it barely covers my underwear!" Aurora grabs Mayu's hand back and pulls her forward so tha tshe can whisper to her with out cori hearng. "Don't blow this for me or you'll regreat it!"
"Right....right......okay then, I gotta get to.....class! Yeah class!" Cori said as he ran off.
Mayu pulled back and looked at her. " I don't know.. but I have to go... bye Aurora-chan," She said with a smile and ran off after Cori " Cori-kun wait up," she yelled whiel jumping onto his back again.
Cori laughed. "Jeeze Mayu-Chan......lay off!'
Mayu jumped down and giggled. " You wanna come over ot my place before we go out to dinner with Aurora-san," She asked " I need to get ready first."
"Oh, sure, I have nothing better to do before we go out...." Cori explained
Mayu jumped up and down then interlocked her arm with Coris. She then looked behind her and smiled at Aurora then walked off with Cori.
Aurora stuck her tongue out at they're retreating back s and went to find Dara
"Been awhile since I've been here....." said Cori has walked in. "Still as bear as ever..."
Mayu took out the key to her apt. and unlocked her door. She walked in and took off her high tops. " I know, " She sighed " I'm saving upt o get a better living room set. Make yourself at home I'll be right back."
"Okay" Cori sat on the couch. "Man.....no TV....poor Mayu-Chan....."
Mayu opened the door to her bedroom and turned on her music. Opening up her closet, she looked at everything she owned and descided on Her knee hip-lenght black strapless dress. She smiled then closed the doors. She removed her school outfit and wrapped herslef in a towel. She then rememberes that it was sitting over the arm of the chair. She sighed and walked out into the living room in her towel. She then froze when she remembered that Cori was there.
"Err......hey Mayu.....I....uh....I'll go over....there......" Cori stuttered.
