Unrequitted love
By:andrew Sosa
The breezes of a tranquil rage erupted through the trees,
and rustled the scattering leaves.
The sun shining,
it bathed a young girl in a lithe ray of golden thread.
Her silky hair,
being gently lifted by the soft wind.
She sat carelessly on a rancorous ledge,
above tempestuous surf.
A soothing gale seemed to bear aloft to her slender figure,
over an interminable tide.
She was overcome with an aspiring sensation,
and in a caressing whisper,
she expelled her inner most affections.
She felt a strong burning in her deepest soul,
for this sensation.
Sadness began to swell in her throat,
and tears began to brim in her tender eyes of viridian.
Of sage mind, she descended into a deep depression.
She lifted onto her delicate feet,
and she approached the perilous ledge.
She whispered her last words of condolence,
and as she made her decent,
she let her angels cut her bonds.
