I'm just going to start writing the begining of my fanfic to get me into the mood for writing, since I have to do my other stuff. sweatdrop Procrastination? probably. xd

Kanata Chronicles
Chapter 1:

It had been a horrible year for the old Team Seven. Kakashi had died out of old age, and buried next to his dear friend Obito. Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto had planned out his whole funeral, and Gai had read the obituary. The obituary was written by Gai himself, and he sure knew how to put passion into things. Every single person cried at least one tear, and Gai cried a whole river. Afterwards, things calmed down. But then, the next tragedy struck.

Sakura was well known throughout Konoha as the "strongest kunoichi since Tsunade herself". But Sakura always wanted something else, something she could never have. It was Sasuke of course, and it always has been. Sasuke had gotten married to another woman, and to top it off, had a child too. But that was years ago, and yet it still hurt her. As a result, the pink-haired ninja could not focus on a simple mission, and it led to her demise.

And then there was Sasuke. Naruto and Sakura had sucessfully pulled him away from Orochimaru and made him well again. He was also well known, well known for being the last of Konoha's greatest clan. He then decided he should rebuild his clan and had married a young lady, and she gave birth to the next Uchiha child. But, the child had died, and Sasuke couldn't take it. He ran away somewhere, but Naruto thinks he knows where. Right back into the hands of Orochimaru. But, nobody wanted to scare Konoha again. Sasuke had once single-handedly destroyed a whole village, and surely with Orochimaru's help, he'd destroy Konoha too. Naruto decided to have everyone believe he had commited suicide, but only those close to Naruto would learn the truth.

It all happened in one year, the death of those 3, along with the faked death of the Uchiha Clan. Although it seems bad, there are also some good news to this future.

The Sound Village didn't want to be a part of Orochimaru anymore. They elected a strong Hokage, one who had signed a peace treay with Konoha, and the rest of the five countries. The Sound Village was finally accepted as a regular village. Currently, the Village Hidden in the Sound is deciding which country they should join up with.

Also, there's the 6th Hokage. Guessed who? Uzumaki Naruto!!! And boy, wasn't he glad Tsunade brought him into her office that day. Naruto has gotten extremely better as a ninja, nothing less should be expected from the 4th's son. Even though he can only unlock 8 tails of the nine tails' power, he still has enough power to protect Konoha and to kill anyone who wants to destroy it again. Naruto finally has his dream, and so does a certain white-eyed woman by the name of Hinata.

There had been a little "accident" and Naruto had found out that Hinata loved him. He was confused at first and confronted her one night. Hinata, who was tired of hiding her secret away, let out all of her thoughts. How she loved him since they were little, and how she always secretly cheered him on.

At this, Naruto said, "I know."

"W-What do you mean you know?" she asked him.

"I.... I always thought I felt a pair of eyes on me at times. At first, I thought someone was chasing me or something, but then nothing happened and I thought I was crazy. That's kinda why I could almost never sense an enemy nearby-"

"I'm so sorry Naruto, I didn't mean to ruin your senses," Hinata cut in, but Naruto but his finger on his lips, and added a shh.

"It's okay Hinata. Eventually, one day I was training and I realized you were watching me. I ran up a tree and did a quick backflip, and I saw you before you had time to hide. Actually, I saw your hair." Naruto said softly as he began to play with her hair.

Hinata was a bit angry. "If you- If you knew, then why didn't you tell me anything?"

Naruto shrugged. "What would I say to you?"

Hinata was tired at this point, and whispered to herself, "You could say you love me too..." Tears gathered in her eyes. It hurt too much.

Naruto frowned and replied in a solemn whisper, "But Hinata...... I'm sorry Hinata. But, I don't share those same feelings. I'm sorry." At this Naruto let go of her hair, and looked away. Hinata began to cry. Naruto really didn't want to hurt her, but he had.

A couple days later, Naruto went back to Hinata and said he changed his mind, but Hinata wasn't so happy to see him. And to make matters worse, Sakura was with Hinata when he said so. They were right in front of Hinata's house, and Neji was watching from inside.

"Are you joking Naruto?!?!" Sakura said in a scary voice. "You can't just go back to a woman and tell her you've changed your mind!!! It doesn't work like that, idiot!!!!" Sakura did most of the yelling Hinata could only wish she could do.

"Neh....What am I supposed to do then??" Naruto asked.

"I don't know... Naruto..." Hinata said in her soft voice, and only Neji could tell she was angry at him.

Naruto put palm on his forehead in fusrtation. "Aw c'mon, Hinata!" He spread his arms and continued, "I'm the Sixth Hokage! Doesn't that make any difference?"

"NO!" Sakura shouted, but Hinata also did as well. "Hm?" Sakura said, turning her attention to Hinata. Hinata's face was now visibly angry. Sakura smiled an evil smile. "Go ahead Hinata! Yell at him! Show him who's boss!"

Naruto saw this as an opportunity. Hinata won't yell at me, she's too sweet for that. It'll be easy to persuade her back into liking me, but I better watch what I do with Sakura around. He shuddered on the inside. And I see Neji through that window. Why are there so many bodyguards for Hinata? gonk

Naruto slowly advanced on Hinata. Over the years, Hinata had grow greatly, and she was no longer that small quiet girl, but a tall, beautiful, and lovely woman. More over, standing next to her would make you look like a peasant if you weren't as equally great as her. And that was something Naruto was sure to accomplish. Hinata already looked like a Hokage's wife. She was an angel, and with Sakura right next to her, Naruto realized the mistake he made. Sakura was pretty, Hinata was beautiful. Sakura was proud, Hinata was humble. Sakura was smart, Hinata was clever.

"Naruto, don't take another step!" Hinata shouted, but not in that soft voice.

Naruto stopped in his tracks. Did she just....?

"Naruto! Don't come anwhere near me anymore! As far as I can tell, you're the one not worthy of me! So don't think you can easily make me love you again, cause there's no way Naruto! No! So if you ever come near me again, I'll attack you like Sakura-chan does!!!"

Naruto eyes were wide open. Sakura was smilling, and Neji raised a eyebrow.

Naruto hung his head down. Aw great. She's been taking lessons from Sakura. "Hinata.... what can I do to make you love me then?"

"...give him a test." said Neji, who had just came out from the front door. "Give him a test. See if he's worthy of you, Hinata."



And as well as that, Tenten became the leader of the ANBU Black Ops., and has gained many awards working in that field.
