Since I've been here on Gaia I've talked to various ones in the ED (Extended Discussion), Gaia's place for serious topics, and have decided to give the discussions up because of the persistant ignorance.
I have never seen so much willing blindness to follow words of men who are nothing more than self centered braggarts who back whatever will get them the fame and fortune they seek.
These poor blind followers of philosophers, highly educated teachers and scientists cannot see the straightforwardness of the words they are reading because their minds are so twisted and use to seeing deciet and lies.
They do not trust because they themselves are out to get what they can. Sadly thats no different than the men they follow because they display the same attitudes and argumentive (name calling is not discussion) nature.
I'm still happy as a lark and free in heart and mind while I give up the board and go on to other less serious, and far more fun, areas here on Gaia. biggrin
