Recently I thought about trying to learn a little bit about the human mind or at least some of it's inner aspects and decided upon reading Mind Wide Open. It's actually a very interesting book, if anyone ever came across it, I suggest at least reading the preface. It's a very down to earth kind of book, (for those of use that can't quite comprehend those huge words used in other books), The author tones everything down so that it can be understood on an average human level, and I very much like this.
Unfortunately through most of the day I only have about 15-20 minutes to read any of it and that's in my last period class of the day, which is apparently a very bad time for me. Reason being is that every time I start reading in that class I always end up passing out about 3-4 pages in sweatdrop , I swear the book is interesting but I guess my mind is just too weary at that point in the day to learn the science of how autistics are less able to "mindread" as normal people but have very developed skills with numbers, words and some art, and normal people visa versa.
I think at some point before I have to return it to the library I'll try finding some other time to read it, just to see if I'm really not that interested or if it's the time of day that I keep reading it xP.
BUT NOT TONIGHT. oh no, I've got...1 essay(of which I have to make the question for), 2 200+ word journals, 8 paragraphs, 20 short answers, and a short paragraph current event. WOOO! (and about 2 1/2 hours to do it!) cheese_whine
