WOOHOO!!! =3
So it's twelve right now, I just got back from the concert. We were there at six and we're now just getting back! It was a blast x] I loved it! Me, my sister, and CJ went and saw Good Charlotte down town, twas exteremly fun.
We had to wait in a HUGE line, and there were a bunch of people asking for money and selling tickets. Then it started down pouring really bad. Once we got to the door the tornado sirens went off as we walked in and my mom called to check, but I didn't realize it. Once we were in the building we had to wait like thirty or forty minutes for the opening band to get on. They were called Young Love, some newbie group that has a CD coming out in January.
I didn't realize what their band name was until the next band said it. I thought they just kept calling everyone their 'young loves'. They were okay, the beat to the music was good, but I could barely understand them. The lead singer was freakishly skinny, like Jack Skeleton skinny with a gigantic bulge in his pants (crotch stuffer)! The keyboardist looked like someone out of the late 80s early 90s with long hair and a flannel shirt, just standing there. It was kinda funny because he just stood there and the lead singer was pulling Axel Rose moves.
The next band was Pink Spider (which instantly made me think of hide from X-Japan, I wonder if there's a connection?) who has been around for like a year I think, they'd been touring for awhile with Good Charlotte, and they had or have a CD out. They were an emo-group, but the smallest guy kept doing all this screaming. They were another batch of freakishly skinny men. =D VERY PRETTY! The drummer started drinking Jack Daniels on stage, and they were all basically chain smoking, but they couldn't be any older then twenty-one, if that!
Then finally after another twenty minute break Good Charlotte came on starting off with Anthem. It was a blast, I loved when they played My Bloody Valentine (my favorite song by them <3). They kept messing with the crowd by starting a song and then stopping a minute later. xD They knew they were torturing the little groupie girls. You could tell they were having fun.
I bought a t-shirt of theirs and downed like a huge glass of rootbeer and water plus lemonade from dinner. Thirsty thirsty!
After the concert we were basically forced out the door by the crowd. Karol was upset because she wore spike-heeled boots and her feet were killing her and CJ couldn't feel his knees! I was just bubbly as ever, bouncing about! As we left this group of Satanic people (at least I'm assuming they were since one had a shirt on that said 'I heart Satan') passing out flyers to convert people o__o freaky.
And then I finally came home and here I am! I got to work on some homework a bit, and then I'm going to bed. I'm so tired... argh, maybe I won't work on homework since I got most of it done. Hum. Lets see. Global Awareness I'm working on Friday, Philosophy I can do after GA tomorrow, Sociology I can probably do tomorrow in class and before since we have a work day... math I'll do monday or over the weekend with my other Soc. paper, and I won't start Crim. until I finish Soc., and I'll study for my test in Coll. Reading and Writing Sunday. Okay then I can go to bed. YAAAY!
