over from South Queenstown High. Linkbob looks around to find himself being stared at
by the whole class. Linkbob is very very confused. He is in his 8th grade Social Studies
class, everyone he knew was in the class too.....but Linkbob would be in 10th grade
already if the Arches hadn't taken over. Everyone looks younger though, as if the last two
years of Linkbob's life were just a dream. At first he was relieved because there would
be no Arches conflict anymore. But then suddenly he remembered of what Chombo said
right before Sky and him were pushed into the orb, "It's a reality that isn't real..." Linkbob
realizes that he was just pushed into a reality chamber. "LINKBOB!" Mrs. Hunted,
Linkbob's 8th grade teacher yelled, "DON'T SLEEP IN CLASS I AM TRYING TO TEACH YOU!"
"Sorry Mrs. Hunted..." Linkbob said. "Smoooooth Linkbob... Your lucky she didn't send
you to Whity just now... your a lucky crackbaby." whispered Beck, one of Linkbob's
friends. Linkbob spun around, "Beck! What day is it?" Linkbob asks. "It's B day." Beck
replies. "Nonono not the school day, the date?" Linkbob furiously asks. "Alright alright
it's should be October 4th, 2004...why?" Beck replies. "I have to know where Sk..."
"LINKBOB, TURN AROUND AND FACE FRONT!" Mrs. Hunted cuts Linkbob off. Linkbob
turns around. The bell rings, lunchtime. Linkbob darts out the room and charges for the
cafetorium. When he got there he saw younger versions of all his friends, Corus, Colson,
Lainie, Zable etc... But one person stood out because he looked alot older than the
others, Sky!!! Linkbob ran over to talk to him. "Sky Sky Sky!" Linkbob yelled. "Linkbob it's
really you isn't it you look older than everyone else so it must be you!" Sky was relieved,
"Dude look at Tom Li he's sweating like a pig. He told me he went to a high chemical test
lab yesterday so he might be having a little side effect to all the chemicals. Don't ask me
why he went though I don't really understand all that geek stuff. Listen since this is not
really real we should do some crazy s**t that we wouldn't really do in real life." "What's
not real?" Rox, Linkbob and Sky's friend suddenly appeared from nowhere.
"UUUHHHH.....well I guess I could tell you.....you are not real sorry Rox." Sky told her.
"Hahahahaha good one Sky." Rox said. Linkbob rolled his eyes. Reb, Rox's twin sister and
the younger version of Corus came and sat down next to Linkbob. "So who is going to
the Halloween dance on Friday?" Reb asked. "MEMEME!" Rox screams. Linkbob, Skye and
Corus say no. " You three will be missing out it's gonna rock." Reb told them. Corus
leans in towards Linkbob. "Hey dude I just got my hands on Donkey Konga that came out
last month." Corus bragged. "Congratulations I've known for like 2-3 years now so it
isn't anything new to me." Linkbob told him. "What the hell are you talking about? I got it
yesterday!" Corus explained. Before Linkbob could say anything else Linkbob heard a
crash behind him. Tom Li had collapsed on the table. Linkbob ran over to help him.
Linkbob pulled him up. Coal, another one of Linkbob's friends helped Tommy up too.
They both dragged Tom to the Nurse's office. When they got there they layed Tom onto
the bed. Coal left to go to class but Linkbob waited. The nurse told Linkbob that Tom's
heart rate was steadily decreasing. She put the curtains around Tom's bed so Linkbob
couldn't see him. "I heard he's been around some chemicals, not drugs or anything just
strange chemicals....probably dangerous." Linkbob said to the nurse. "I'd better call an
ambulance." the nurse said. She tries calling the ambulance but gets a busy signal.
"Damn if I don't get a doctor soon this boy could die!" the nurse exclaims. Linkbob
remembers what really happened to the real Tom Li. When 8th grade ended Tom went
back to his home country of China to live there until he goes to college, he truely desires
to come back to America to go to college. Right about now though, Linkbob thinks he'll
do much better in China where the Arches might have not gotten to but who knows...
The nurse goes back in to check on Tom. "Tom has just died." she sadly tells Linkbob.
She checks the time. "I'd better call an ambulance and Tom's parents. You can stay if
you'd like." The nurse walks towards the phone. When she has her back turned Linkbob
peers behind the curtains to see Tom. Tom's face was completely pale and somewhat
rotting. Linkbob felt sick after seeing him. A few minutes went by and the nurse walked
over to Linkbob who was standing next to the curtain. "Alright Linkbob it's about time
you'd better get back to class now we don't want you to be..." the nurse stopped talking
and looked into the somewhat opened curtain to find Tom standing, staring at her. He
was still as white as a ghost. Linkbob wasn't aware at what she was seeing yet until Tom
jumped out from behind the curtain knocking the nurse onto the floor. He started biting
her neck, she started bleeding. The nurse was screaming. "HE'S A FRICKIN ZOMBIE!"
Linkbob screamed. Linkbob instinctivly grabbed for his gun. But since he wasn't actually
in the real world he didn't have his gun. He was in normal clothing. So instead Linkbob
ran out of the room. He had to try to find Skye because if he gets whatever Tom got he
could become this zombie thing forever. He found Sky in Mr. Wittfor's room. "Sky we
gotta find a way outta here!" Linkbob yelled. "You know where the exits are just go out
there." Sky tells him. "Mr. Simpson." Mr.Wittford told Linkbob(He likes to call Linkbob
Mr.Simpson. "Can you wait until after class with Sky?" Linkbob looked out into the hall.
He saw the nurse down by the main office. She definately looked like a zombie. She
jumped on two kids and started biting them. "Sky something is very wrong in the
school." Linkbob urgantly said. Linkbob looked at the door and he saw the Nurse staring
inside at everyone. She looked worse than dead. "Oh goodness me what happened to the
nurse?" Mr. Wittford wondered worridly. He walked over to let her in. "NO!" Linkbob
yelled. When he opened the door the nurse jumped on him and tried to bite him. Then
two other kids including Tom came in and started chasing the other kids in the
classroom. "Quickly to the wood workshop room!" Sky yelled. The wood workshop room
was connected to Mr. Wittfords room because he was also the teacher of the class too.
By the time Linkbob and Sky got into the wood workshop room there were only 7 of the
28 kids from the class left. Linkbob noticed a steel door to the outside." Quick the door!"
Sky went up to it, trying to get it open."The doors and windows are locked!" Linkbob's
mind was racing. He looked at a huge cabinet full of supplies. "Hey let's all push this
cabinet in front of the door so they can't get in!" "What if we have to get out?" Coal, one
of the kids remaining asked. "Then we will use the door to the hall, it's only locked on
the outside." Linkbob explained. Sky went to the phone to try to tell the office of whats
happening. "Nobodies picking up!" Sky said. "We need to get down to the office so we
can unlock the doors to the outside." Sky tells Linkbob. "Ok everyone stay here we will
be right back we are going down to the office to figure everything out." Linkbob tells the
rest of the remaining class. So Linkbob and Sky rush down the hall. The quickly stop
running though to find zombies swarming in and out of the office. "There is no way
anybody could still be alive in there." Sky points out. They both turn around to find (the
younger version of) Corus Maxus standing there looking at Linkbob and Sky. As like all
the others, Corus looks very dead and very zombie-like. "Uh-Oh" Linkbob says. Then all
of a sudden Corus jumps on Sky. Sky doesn't fall over due to Corus' smallness. Linkbob
quickly kicks Corus off of Sky before he can make any sort of bite. They run down the
hall back to the wood workshop room to find Coal standing outside of the room waving
them down. "What happened?!" Linkbob asked Coal. "Let's just say the zombies learned
how to throw computers. One of those many computers hit the glass window next to the
door we blocked up. They swarmed in and since I was right next to the door I was the
only one who got out safley." Coal told them. "Hey, that gives me an idea." Sky picks up a
desk laying around in the hall and chucks it at a window leading to the outdoors. The
desk simply bounces right off of the window without even leaving a scratch. "Dammit,
let's go upstairs, maybe there is an open window up there." Sky runs up with Linkbob and
Coal. When they turn the corner at the top of the staircase a zombie latches onto Coal,
pushing him over the edge of the staircase. Sky and Linkbob are upset for him but they
must move on. They run down the hall and after maybe 30 seconds they find that they
are surrounded with zombies. They go into the one room that isn't zombie infested to
find Rox and Reb crawling out of an open window. "You found an open window! But it's
so far down..." Sky told them. "We know." Reb told Sky. "But there is a tree that we can
climb down." Once Reb and Rox got onto the tree Sky and Linkbob started climbing on.
They all made it out of the school safley. "Now we need to try to find a way out of this
reality..." Linkbob told Sky. "Actually, people have been saying some weird stuff has been
going on down in the guild. We should go check it out!" Sky suggested. So Linkbob and
Sky went to the guild and took a look around. They heard a buzzing noise. So they
followed it right into the boy's bathrrom in the back right near the candy machines. They
saw this bright red glow coming from the side of the wall in the stall. "This must be it."
Linkbob told Sky. Sky and Linkbob walked into it at the same time. The next thing they
knew they were in a huge dark room, behind them the big red orb Mangello pushed Sky
into. Next to the red orb was the green orb Corus was pushed into and next to that the
blue orb with Haitch De in it. "Sky, I'm going to go into the green orb and try to find
Corus. You stay and I will be right back. If anyone comes you know how to fight......just
look out for Chombo and Mangello." Linkbob tells Sky. Linkbob then walks up to the
green orb and steps in.
