"Everything". This is a poem I wrote after being inspired by the love of my life, Kirsten.
Everything about her makes my day
Her eyes are like two beautiful pools
That catch the essence of a shallow bay
Everything about her makes my day
Her smile is like a shining light
That lets me find my way
Everything about her makes my day
Her voice on the phone late at night
Drives away all the pain
That might come from a cloud of rain
So that the sun comes out again today
I dream about her every night
Because she is my shining star
I know, that without her,
I could never make it far
So when I sit there at night,
Alone and sad,
I just look back on what she and I had
And I smile again
For, with her, I'm always glad
Since everything about her makes my day.
