Last night I had this really odd dream. My guinea pig, Squeaker, the one that died, was wondering around my gunea pig's cage. For some reason, there were a ton of poisonus mushrooms in the cage, and Squeaker was eating them. But since she was dead, they had no effect on her. When she was done eating all the mushrooms, she sat back and Rachel, my other guinea pig, came up and started eating. Then it dawned on me that Squeaker ate the mushrooms to keep Rachel from eating them, meaning she was protecting her. I think that my dream meant that Squeaker is watching over Rachel, because I was talking to her spirit (I'm a little on the spiritual side) and asked her to watch over her sister, Rachel. I think Squeaker was trying to tell me that she was.
