Ok well, I'm going to be gone this weekend. My family and I are going to Mall of America to go school shopping. Yeah thats right school shopping. So you know what that means...I have school starting soon. As in August 14th soon. Which, excuse me while I rant just a moment, I find to be complete and utter bullshit. Pardon my launage. For all of you who don't live in Gothenburg Nebraska, school here usually starts in late August. Usually the 22. Thats my dad's birthday present to. Hehe my dad's brithday is Aug. 22, so he gets to send us to school for his brithday present. See none of us had a problem with that. Well here lately, our school has made some choices that of course upset the students and even their staff. For you see our school is smart and didn't put in snow days for last year....Ok people we live in the middle on Nebraska, how can you not put in snow day?! Well they payed for it of course. Durning Thanksgiving vaction we had a lovely Three day Blizzard, the last three days of the vaction. Well geuss what, people could hardly get around town let alone get to school, so we had a two day prolonged vaction. No, actually it was Three days. We didn't have school the day before vaction because a teacher died from caner and the day before vaction was the funeral. All the students and such were happy until we got back to school...You want to know what they did? They add a week on to the school year....Oh did that go over well. rolleyes What made matters worse was it didn't effect any of the seniors! They didn't move the graduation day or anything! Even the teachers found this a bit unfair. Well school went on, everyone constantly making side remarks about the extra week of school. So we didn't get out of school until May 24, when we where suppose to get out May 19. It was so bad, cause we all figured we start school later because we got out of school late. Ha! Right. We are actually started school a whole week eariler. No big deal really, I just might get to graduate sooner^-^. I get to be a senior this year! Yay!...Hehe Fresh Meat[Freshmen].
