I never would have thought this could happen,
never thought this through.
I never wondered why?
ok that is not true.
I dared myself to turn,
I say to myself it's quicker
I fight against the voice
and I go the longer way,
while I was coming home from school.
But one day,
my mind was deep in thought
about my troubles
and my problems
about science
math and reading.
All about the kids in school,
all about my crush.
And you know what happened?
I was walking home from school,
if you did not know
and I always remember that turning is not the way to go.
It's quicker and cooler
but I want to take the longer way.
To keep out of trouble I sometimes say.
But that day, walking home from school.
There was a blank in my head
I had no idea what to do.
My mind was too wrapped into thought
to care about where my feet brought.
So I turn and got in trouble....
with the voices in my head.
