I added a fun and games section to my links. I've only got one thing in there right now, Gaia. At the moment it is in alpha stage, but there is already quite a bit to do there. It is progressively fun and addictive (and sooo cute!).
If you decide to check it out, I recommend you sign up first because clicking around earns your avatar some gold and you can also win clothes and accessories for your avatar. When you sign up, you go to a character creation screen and you can design your little avatar. The options are really cute for both male and females.

Once you've signed up you want to check out the link for "rares" under events. It is to the right of the main page screen. This will teach you about the free gifts that you get and how to not lose them. I almost lost my first event because I didn't know what it was.
After you have created your little avi and understand how the events work, you can go just about anywhere. The main page has an anime/game search engine and if you have a site of your own you can add a link to it there. If you're not into that, I recommend clicking the "map" link. You'll see a cute little map of Barton Town. Rolling over the buildings will tell you what each of the links are.
The art arena is a place for artists to post their artwork and get it rated. Unfortunately the rating system isn't the greatest (but it is in alpha and I think they're working on something new). Currently you can rate a picture between one and ten, but the problem is that some artists get their friends or make multiple accounts and bump up their own vote while simultaneously giving terrible scores to the top ten artists or anyone that looks like competition. Other than that, it is a good place to promote your artwork and your site and get gold if you're an artist and a decent place to look at some cool pictures if you're not (and get gold ^_^).
I recommend staying away from the personals unless you are going in there for a laugh. Some of those people are freaky-deaky. I think Gaia is mostly populated by teenagers and the hormones are in full force. The forum is sometimes the same and there's also a lot of people just posting for gold so finding a good conversation isn't the easiest, but they are easy to navigate.
One of the most fun things to do is to click and go shopping. You can buy all sorts of things for your little avi. Of course for this you need gold. But if you've been clicking around and exploring, you should have a little by the time you're ready to look in the stores. There is one store in Barton Town and you can also click the arrow at the top of the map and go on to Gambino. There isn't much in Gambino other than another clothes shop, a hat store, and the bank, but if you like shopping it is pretty fun.
At the moment that is pretty much all there is to do, but they are adding new things all the time. Some of the things they are talking about adding are weapons, houses, blogs, pets, mini-games, and other fun stuff. See you there!
