This is a selection of my Old traditional art works . That I used to do attached to stories ( Role-plays ) . Most of these were done when my Adopted Grandpa Rex was still alive . We spent much time studying and archiving , an I done drawing during my good days free of Arthritis Pain .
Nash-eoke in the garden at the White Villa at Acergate ( Greensand Island ) Unfinished .
.
Nash-eoke in Child form at the Water Pump
Due to my labour some and slow drawing technique at the time , and tendency to rubbing the paper with the side of my hand . I go overboard with detail . This is a prime example of the main feature Nash-eoke ) getting left behind and the Water Pump strangely receiving all the attention
.
Kyosho and Tamiya outside ( Paloma Park ) pavilion cafe Westhampton
Very few of my Drawings ever got coloured due to my discomfort with my hands . This was a rare occasion that broke that trend . This one actual saw much colour and detail
The Paloma Park cafe featured in a Role-play that I was doing with Eyes In the dark on Cabbit Patch . The main character was Red Star , one of three brother Cabbits , Red Star ( Fire Fly ) who lived as a tramp in Westhampton town as a disabled cabbit
in a ramshackle wooden trolley with small pram wheels .
Red Star found himself at Paloma Park at the Cafe and Boat House and was taken in by the group .
Tamiya and Kyosho the cat people are brother and sister and run the lake side pavilion . Three other anthro cat people work there . Sisters Tuppence and Penny and Rose Marie . Yet again you can see that the main focus of the picture has been sidelined . This time it being the Umbrella has received all the detail , although I had a hard time getting the inside of the umbrella to look concave .
.
This drawing was also attached to the same Role-play and this is the lake side Paloma park cafe , and where Tamiya and Kyosho worked with staff .
Strangely many years later after doing this drawing I was to visit Reigate ( surrey ) UK/GB for the first time in many years . I was surprised to see the real equivalent in Priory park . Only it was on dry land , the water around being replaced by swathes of other Wild Flowers and Lavender .
.
Rose marie Tuppence and Penny
Were based on my friend Barbara's three female cats . Rose marie being a Silver Tabby . Tuppence a Black cat and Penny a Black and White tuxedo .
You can see this drawing never went past the line art stage . I also ran out of length of paper at the bottom so had to add more .
.
This was my only art work that was coloured with Water Colour paints . It's actually and expanded and printed illustration from a Ravensbourne Review newsletter dating to 1999/2000 . The Dinosaur Picnic at Crystal Palace Park . Graphic Design original Paul Hope .
.
This work was a mashup based on a WWII campaign poster . Is your journey really necessary ? My late adopted Grandpa Rex of who'm worked as a Signalman on the calling ton branch railway , was in the Home Guard during the Second World War in remote Cornwall ( England ) Here we have the Igunadon dinosaur again , rethought . And I done this drawing as a Patriotic poster for a Gaia Guild .
I really done a lot of work on this and is one of my few works that was full coloured , stained and even burnt at the edge for that historic feel .
They say people look like their Cabbits and Cabbits look like their familiars .
Nash-eoke
.
Nash-eoke picking up shells on the Beach at acergate ( Greensand Island )
Drawn in colour pencil and Felt Tip oddly ? !
.
This is likely one of my oldest drawings related to a role-play . The Snow Thread on The Cabbit Patch . Here we see Nash-eoke and Toky-Ohki on a snow tower with giant Snowballs running down hill . Maruno as the Wizard Mobius and Ketira's hood Frying Pan resting on the floor . Mobius's Tornado
.
My front elevation view of the White Villa on Greensand island at Acergate . As you can see there are many influences in the buildings design . The Villa being built of Local Glauconitic sand and limestone rocks and rendered white on at least this side . I haven't done drawings of the other sides . Although the Drawing of Nash-eoke at the very top , was drawn in the supposed back garden .
Master Jon's white Villa featured in many Role-Play stories including Greensand Island : The Tide of Change and Limbo with Sunset from Cabbit Patch
All the Cabbits live here
Nash-eoke Toky-Ohki , Schneeball , White Star ( adopted ) , Secret Lyrics , Giner ( adopted ) and Nan-Ohki a Cabbit in Human adult form ( family maid ) after losing her own familiar .
.
Basic line art drawing of White Star on his trolley shortly after arrival on Greensand Island as a boat Stowaway
.
White Star on the Beach at Greensand Island in Child Form
.
Colour pencil drawing of Nan-Ohki . The Cabbit that lost her familiar in the Role-play Greensand Island : Limbo . She almost died as a result of the disappearance of her owner . But the Residents of the White Villa adopted her and nursed her back to health . The Gem in her forehead changed colour and she acquired an adult form , her body taking on her former familiars image . But as a result Nan-Ohki now ages at a normal human rate . She is now the Houses maid .
.
A Drawing I done in 2004 of the Grrr Bunny from the Honda Advert and the Flash Game of that time . Yet again another work of mine that has taken the focus away from the main Character . This time the detail has gone into the Wooden Mallet !
Hate Something , Change Something , Make Something Better ! * sings / whistles *
.
Based on the stories my late adopted Grandpa Rex wrote for us . I drew this front elevation of the Last Chance cafe at Cadborough on Sea . The establishment is loosely based on Cherries Cafe that was on Cherry Orchard Road ( addiscombe ) Croydon UK .
This Drawing likely dates to 1997 ish and the Print writing is Rex's
.
Another rare example of a work of mine , that time was poured over with detail . Both Grandpa Rex and I worked on this drawing . Measuring and trying to figure out the distance between the levers you can see inside the Signal Box , how many and which ones would be hidden . Drawn in 1997 ish again I would guess . And one of my better drawings .
Drawn to accompany stories that my last Grandpa wrote for me
.
This is the lever frame inside the Signal Box that Grandpa Rex , a former Railway Signalman himself designed . This shows the signal box panel or the track and points controlled by the boxes over frame . This drawing is pretty much real time accurate . In a real Signal box a light would go off when a train was in a section in the diagram , when the signalman looked at it .
I drew and coloured it no doubt .
.
A write up of the Signal Box itself by Rex Phillips .
