Well, I, as many of you was addicted to the original Sims quite a while back and, although I didn't buy any of the expansion packs, I still pop it in every now and then. So, you can imagine my excitement as I installed "The Sims 2" onto my compie. First of all the graphics are un-freaking believable even on my crappy system, and this thing runs at a great rate most of the time. You'll actually be able to see what your sim is watching on T.V. and see his facial expressions a lot easier. And the zoom is awsome, too. You can zoom so far that you'll be able to see what color of eyes your sim has, and the folds in his/her clothes. The controls are pretty good as well, although most of it is done by the mouse and several of the easy to use menues. This game is pretty simple, which means everyone will be able to get into it, even your significant other (which made the original so popular). You start off creating your sim, and this is so freaking deep you wouldn't believe it. I had a blast making my sim. Next is choosing your sim's aspirations. You can make him want to be a business man, a horn-dog, a father, or anything in between. As you can very well tell, this game is deep, you can do whatever you want, and I mean whatever. Also there's a fear system, you stay away from those things as much as possible. Back to how freaking deep this game is. It's deep, very deep, you can do anything that you wouldn't risk doing with your life (although it still has to be in a house or with neighbors, but we'll have 20 expansions for everything else). And for some, you can even practise your sweet-talk. This game has a great sense of humor, great graphics and gameplay, but it's missing something. It doesn't have as much as I would expect for a sequel. I give it a 90%
