So actually, I just recently decided to get some help with my awful depression. On October 2015, I went into the school counselor's office and asked. Just like that.
I was getting sick and tired of coming to school everyday feeling like killing myself and hating every single soul in the building. I hated the feeling of being trapped with the same toxic people that I ate lunch with. I mean, I didn't have any other friends, so I sat with them to avoid looking like a sore low-life loser....but does it even matter? Most of the school already believed that anyways. And I still feel self-important. Jesus Christ.
Anyyyyways, turns out my suspicion was right. I have depression and last year, had anxiety too. I'm currently taking mild anti-depressants to cope with the symptoms. So far, my mood seems to have gotten better, and thoughts of suicide have decreased.
I'm very happy with the results, and I'm glad I made the decision to ask and get help.
Remember people, ASK FOR HELP.
It is not worth feeling like crap everyday.
You are a human being who has needs to be taken care of.
You are a living, breathing, soul.
Your flesh does not only survive to please others, it contains a life force and you must learn to combat your demons!
So yeah, get help if you need it.
Sorry if that last paragraph was cheesy rofl
