1. Outside the Window: What’s the weather outside your window doing right now? If that’s not inspiring, what’s the weather like somewhere you wish you could be?

I imagine I'm at the coast, in my favorite hotel facing the ocean. Though it's dark, the moonlight illuminates my view from the sliding glass patio door. It isn't raining, though that's usually the case in January. A fog has settled over everything. Waves roll over one another, moved by the rapid winter wind. I rest my hand and cheek against the icy glass. I don't need to slide open the door to know just how chilly it is.

1. find the solution

I want to be happier. I want to be less scared. I'm not good at math any more. Solutions are not my strong suit. Maybe I'll just sleep on it. I have a year to come up with the answers, right?
