My wisdom story of the week (or untill I can think of another one)
Egotism:
There once was an officer who wanted power so he wanted to be a general really bad. After many years of waiting he got it. Sitting at his large desk he heard a knock at his door, wanting to seem big, he picked up the phone and acted like he was talking to the president and told the maggot to come in. He glared at the maggot saying "of course mister president", "yes mister president" into the phone When he finally hung up, having a big ego, he thought he fooled the maggot. Smirking at his triumph he asked the maggot what was so important that he had to interrupt his talk with the president and the maggot replied. "I came to hook up your phone sir."
