Reasons I Don't Much Care For Bush

1. he's making up the gas shortage. We have plenty of it. The only reson that the news says the reserves are running low is because all of our gas is being stored is boats off of our coast, outside our ports. Even if it is our gas, it won't be counted until thos boats are in our ports.

2. He's still playing up the terrorist bit. September 11 may have been a very frightening day for all of us, but it happened five years ago. Theres no need for us to be so paranoid five years after the fact, too.

3. He passed the Patriot Act. The Patriot Act, Now that it has been passed, allows the government to screen ALL calls, including those made on home phones, cell phones, telephone booths, and private lines. It also provides an excuse for scammers to ask for your social security number, and thus, gain access to ALL of your personal records and your identity. To see the bill, here's the link. 4. Do you know what the Country's debt is, now that he's obtained the office for two terms? $8,350,224,745,577.64. Thats nearly FIVE TRILLION dollars more than it was when Clinton was president, and its still FIVE TRILLION more than when Clinton left! Here's the sight for that.

5. His speeches. I know that this isn't really a good reason, but they just annoy me. He doesn't really answer questions in a press conference, and as for sounding intelligent...well, let me give you an example of something he actually said: "This bill is an important bill..." You'd think that we'd get the point after the first 'bill'...

6. Nursing Homes are getting their funding cut because of Medicaid D. I know you think that I don't know much about this, but I really do, seeing as my mom runs one. Mum has had to cut her staffing because she doesn't get enough money coming into the Nursing Home to pay them. I mean, sure, I know that the money's going to the schools and everything, but isn't there any where else thats LESS important to cut from other than the nursing homes?

7. Bush says that the car companies need to make their vehicles run two more miles to the gallon by 2008. Come on! We can do much better than that! I think this last one explains itself. And if it doesn't...Well, I'm sorry to hear that.

And those are a few reasons why I don't much care for the Bush administration. Are there any other opinions? I'd like to hear them.
