If she chooses to sustain her inner form, she will suffer severe body pains from the strain for forcing her demonic aura to remain. Normally recovers within a couple of hours.

Anima: Juiva's true personality isn't very different from what she shows but tends to be slightly softer and less cold towards others. When being her true self, she might have a look that might be a soft smile that shows some kind of compassion.
Persona: Because of her position and rank, Juvia must always keep a blank and emotionless facade. She is often referred to being an Ice Queen but is simple a Broken bird that hides under the mask.

Demonhood: When Juiva arrived in hell, she had no memories of her previous life on earth. For some reason, she lost her memories and was only able to remember her first name. Fresh to arrive in hell, Juvia had no title or Ranking and was only seen as a damn soul until Shadow came across her and saw the potential she had to become something great. With no memories of the person she once was, she went along with the demons plans and within a couple of centuries, Juvia was able to climb to the ranks of a General. Til this day, she still doesn't not recall her past but occasionally has dreams that show her glimpse of her past but never show her enough to actually remember. Sometimes her dreams turn into nightmares that causes her to lose sleep and almost burn her comrades. Everyone feels that she is suffering from trauma-induced amnesia and the only person who seems to know anything about it is Shadow but never shares any information about it.
