Show and Tell: He took a quick look at the back seat of his truck, smiling at his son. His pit bull was riding shotgun, tongue hanging out. He was taking his son to their new life at their new home. He found a new job at a restaurant as server and bartender, and he hoped to find a better job. He needed a better job to be able to take care of his boy. But he figured with working both as server and bartender, he’d make enough to keep a roof over their heads. He was going to do everything in his power. No more relying on his mother and stepfather. They let him use their guesthouse for him and his little boy, but now Aaron had decided that he needed to do it all on his own. He NEEDED to do this on his own. Make the money to make his own house payments and take care of his son as a single father. The only help he’d be getting is babysitting help, and he would be taking Ryan to a daycare instead of asking his mother or sister to babysit for him. Ryan needed the socialization anyway. The boy was going on two, and didn’t have anyone his age to play with. Aaron was trilled that he found a nice house in a very nice neighborhood that was in his budget.
He pulled up in the driveway and looked back at Ryan again. “We’re home, baby!” he said to the little toddler before getting out of the truck. Just moments later, the moving truck pulled up to the house. He took Ryan out of his car seat and let Sugar, his pit bull, out of the car before carrying Ryan over to the house, unlocking the door and walking in. He walked Ryan around the house, telling him what room they were in, even if the little boy couldn’t really comprehend what was going on. He saved Ryan’s room for last, smiling at the boy. “Once the moving men put the furniture in the house, we can get your room all fix up,” he said to the little boy. He then walked Ryan right out of the house and instructed the moving men in what room to put each piece of furniture, helping with what he could. Eventually, he set Ryan up in a playpen in the living room. He’d have Sugar there, guarding him. It’s what she usually did anyway. She always had herself right in front of the little toddler’s playpen, protecting the baby from danger.
He looked around the front yard, imaging the things he could do with it. The neighborhood was so beautiful, he couldn’t get over it. How could he afford such a beautiful place? He hoped there were plenty of children Ryan could grow up with. With that thought in mind, he continued to help the moving men bring in his belongings. It was going to take at least a week to get all settled in, but that was fine. He didn’t have to start his new job for another week and a half. The owner was giving him time to get moved in, which was very nice of him. So Aaron took advantage of that. He moved from his mother’s house as soon as he could. His mother was sad that his eighteen year old son was moving out so soon, but he was doing this for his own son. He assured his mother that he would be visiting at least once a week. He couldn’t just leave her like that. She had done EVERYTHING she could for him, and he was grateful to the woman. She was just… amazing. Even with what happened to the family in the past. Aaron’s father… was a bad man. As soon as Aaron’s mother found out what her husband was doing to her children, she called the police and he was sent to jail. After that, Aaron’s mother moved them to another state to start a new life. She was just amazing through it all.
Eventually, Aaron’s mother turned up to the new house just to make sure everything was going as it should, and to keep an eye on Ryan. Aaron rolled his eyes, shaking his head. He knew she worried, so he couldn’t really blame her. He let her do as she pleased, getting the kitchen put together. She promised him that she was going to stock his kitchen as a welcoming gift. He knew she was going to do it anyway, so Aaron agreed to let her do that much. He was going to need the food anyway. So with his mother inside, keeping an eye on Ryan, Aaron was really able to help the movers. He helped them take Ryan’s furniture up to his room, even set up the crib so the toddler could later take a nap.
Boxes of belongings were starting to stack up in the living room and garage. Later, he was going to have to go through what they really needed for the night. Dishes were a must, as well as clothes for the next day. Towels and such. His mother was going to pick up new shower stuff that day, too. So all he really had to do once the movers left was put things where he wanted them before stopping for the day. But that wasn’t going to be for a long while. It was only going on three in the afternoon, and he was planning on working until he just couldn’t anymore.e, so long as it displays your Role-playing finesse! Good luck and have fun!

Show and Tell:Just as Hoshi was making her way across the frozen water, she heard Ryuu behind her, she turned finding him with five small fish of his own, she was happily surprised that he found a river as well. They would all be able to eat tonight, and while it wouldn’t be much, it was surely better then beginning to starve, as they continued to move along they may have more difficulty. “Glad you found one.” She replied as she turned back around to continued walking, she grabbed one of her tanto out of her obi and kneeling down on the ground, she used a smaller charged version of her Chidori Koken as she fused her lightning with the blade of her tanto sliding the weapon clean through the ice and cutting out a large enough hole. Once the hole was cut and the chunk of ice floated down towards the bottom, panting hoshi stopped the small amount of chakra that she had used in the blade before sitting down.
While she sat on the ice by the hole she pulled out a hand full of wire, where she they managed to make a form of makeshift fishing net and she sunk it down into the water. She sat silently waiting for the right amount of fish to show up, they needed at least five more to feed everyone some what decently. And finally after a good fifteen to maybe twenty minutes of sitting there, her rump was beginning to feel numb almost, the fish came up showing their heads. She pulled standing up in one fluid motion she smirked lightly turning to show her own fish to Ryuu, proud that she had been able to help.
Holding the net of wires in one of her hands she walked across the ice back towards the shore almost with a hop to her step, she couldn’t wait to show the others the hall they had for tonight, she wondered if Ashi had found anything while he was out as well. “Let’s head back, I bet they're hungry.” Hoshi wouldn’t admit to it, but her rump was numb from the cold ice, and she was starving herself. She just wanted to sit down and relax slightly, not to mention the idea of food for everyone made her mood sky rocket.
As the two of them walked together Hoshi wondered how Ryuu was feeling about Sayu’s death, she glanced over at her closest friend in the group from the corner of her eyes before looking in front of her again to watch where she was walking. She really didn’t want to walk into a tree in front of him. That’d be just what she needed to do right now.
As they got closer towards where they had been camping Hoshi took notice of the dome, Yuya had made shelter that meant heat would soon be waiting for them. “Yuya fixed camp.” She remarked as they made their way up close to the dome, with a bit of looking the two of them found the doorway and made their way inside. “We come baring food.” She remarked as the warmth that was slowly starting to build inside the rock sheltering hit her, it was just warmer than outside, but that was more then enough for Hoshi as she walked over holding the fish out to anyone who wanted to take them to cook.
